  • Nice vid! Was hoping to see one of those Hybrid Altimas or Fusions in there.

  • For both NYPD and FDNY, how do they determine which units get new LED lights and stuff? I always wondered that... I like the LED's just the old bulbs are fun to look at how old they look

  • FOR SURE THERE IS A DUNKIN DONUTS NEABY,......

  • 2011 charger...2012 have the cut out design on the sides

  • @TheMtdew24 Try 2010 Charger or older. 2011 started the new body style...

  • They always have the coolest like cars, i.e. the charger...but what is with them ugly ass rims on all the police cars?

  • i love the lightshow of american police cars! here in germany, the police cars are very boring! -.-

  • ESU (EMERGANCY SERVICE UNIT) AND HIGHWAY Patrol 1 And HWY DIST

  • @kingnitroluna62897 WRONG! That van is NOT ESU.... It is just a transportation van because of all the foot patrol units. Don't let criminal justice rule you, totally wrong.

  • @LCSPInvestigations actually you are double wrong.. It is an Emergency Services Unit van, it says so right on rear quarter panel (ESU). There are regular patrol vans similar in make and model, but his one in particular belongs to the Canine Unit (K-9).

  • is it just me or are those vehicles looking so awesome?

  • charger

  • NYPD seems to have gotten a raise recently...

  • @viruslived Their old 25,000 dollar salary wasn't at all good enough incentive to work for NYPD.

  • ITS FOUR !

  • the van was a transport....could have been a high priority prison transport

  • its a prius

  • You people are to obsessed with cops and cop cars, stop watching so much tv !!!

  • Whats on the car just behind the light car?

  • @CashMoneyBelieeDAT It's reasonable for police vans to have a rear and front light bar, but yes ridiculous for the cars.

  • @eveningniteshade @CashMoneyBelieeDAT They're riser bars, they're used on Highways so that people can see from further back that there's an accident.

  • surge drill, i was there

  • is this a emergency or a surge drill??

  • @dio22dio22 emergency if it was a surge there wudnt be all the traffic and plus the'rd be about 20-70 cars waiting

  • does NYPD have MDC's in their cars?

  • what was the emergency call then?

  • what was the call then?

  • comment whats wrong with british police every video i see is always american

  • That was the Hercules detail, 2 highway cars, 1 K9, 1 ESU, 1 DT

  • NYPD is probably the largest police force in America, A different Variety of vehicles and tons of officers. Unlike many stations around the 50 states.

  • @bloodhoun138 the largest in the US...

  • maybe a stupid question but what is a charger?

  • @superstoeptegel1 The Charger is a cartype from the manufacturer Dodge.

  • grand theft auto 4 any one ?

  • Charger

  • why does nyc need chargers..they cant even go fast in the city too much traffic..what a waste of such a nice car

  • @egor2112 its called Highway Partol for the HIGHWAY

  • @egor2112 Some dont have the Hemi V8. Police departments complain on how terrible they are with gas. So they equip them with 3.5L V6s

  • @egor2112 Do you know all the parkways and highways in and around NYC? I-278,I-678,I-495,I-395,1-95,I-87,and more.I'm guessing you're thinking too much about Manhattan.

  • naa they weren't responding to anything that was an escort

  • @gregg53186 the original purchase of NYPD chargers back in 2006 called for 35 cars 15 were V6s that went to PCTs for use as sector cars and the rest had the hemis and went to highway. the charger sector cars didnt last long in service.

  • that fan had the best lights.

  • I dont get how they respond to anything in that city

  • charger

  • On 9/11 vehicles responded pretty quickly but nyc has too much traffic to respond even above 35mph there. They have to really drive slow and cautious a lot to avoid accidents. Now, where I live in Philly police seem to drive like it's NFS but most of the time they do get there safely. I've witnessed them drive really fast even during the rush hours they push it and squeeze through the tightest lanes or spaces and even take the sidewalk. However, in downtown Philly they drive a lot more slower.

  • another day in a life in NYC

  • @Evolancer13 yes it is....and nice name lol

  • WTF ok its a charger !!!!!!!!!!!

  • CHARGER

  • charger

  • dodge charger

  • charger

  • Charger

  • wow man. tht was a hemi charger lol

  • @rgrant3500

No it wasnt, city police vehicles dont use V8 vehicles. gas is too expensive they dont need to exceed high speeds if there in the city. city vehicles, ANY city, their police use V6 models. HIGHWAYS use V8s

  • @AUSSIE249 that charger was the nypd highway patrol

  • @AUSSIE249 that charger was a HWY unit which utilizes V8. Also ford crown vics whcih are used in precints are v8

  • @AUSSIE249 You might wanna change "ANY city" to "ANY city in New York". Because tons of police across America use V8 engines in all their vehicles.

  • Charger..

  • Charger

  • @dichos0 Thank you.

  • @Adragon1 Uh, how do you confuse the two?

  • @dichos0 Ye definetly..
