  • a handfull of singers but it sounds so full!!!

  • in the spirit of worship/service- the american way ....sort of eh....a western way .. but dis is a concert .. idiot

  • Is this a dance club or church service?

  • I agree! Is so sad; this is just a shadow of the HS I knew. No messsage, no inspiration, no nothing! Hey! Don't get confused, we don't have female pastors in our church.

  • The new heritage is on point. Love it! Great singing. I will be among the chosen few and I am hoping it is soon.

  • Owaooh! Marvellous. I like the reference in this church and I can see the lady pastor amongst the audience. The singers are really into the song, connected. Thanks for sharing. Keep it up Heritage.

  • @lobatsetown connected with whom?

    celebreation church................pentecostal church........or sda?

  • @lobatsetown MINUTE : 1:04 SAD REALLY SAD

  • @alfaandomega2 Is it the song that provoked the behavior or the personality of that lady? Yes, I do admit that we SDA's should guide against losing our identity.

  • @lobatsetown losing everything..his personality in the context flow

  • @alfaandomega2 Don't judge. That lady was a visitor and if we give her a good example with our behavior without saying a word of judgement she will learn and will rejoice with us showing it in a different way.

  • I LOVE THIS SONG!

  • Greatful song!!! Praise the Lord...!!! Heyyyyyy!!!

  • what an embarrassment for this group to say they are seventh day adventist ,dancing in the church , this is more like pentecostal than sda . Sad that the sda church started in America , but now they are too liberal . This group will never step into my church .Never

  • @Fredy197 Is there Biblical context to support your statement?

  • @Fredy197 Passage Psalm 149:3: 3Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.

  • Whenever the evil spirit from God was upon Saul, David took the lyre and played it with his hands; so Saul was refreshed, and was well, and the evil spirit departed from him (1 Sam 16:23)I will sing with the spirit and I will sing with the mind also (1 Cor 14:15). Apparently some sung ecstatically without engaging their mind. Senseless singing is like senseless speech. Both dishonor God, because, as Paul says: God is not a God of confusion but of peace (1 Cor 14:33).

  • @Fredy197 I think the passage reminded me not to sing happy song when we are in the funeral, not to sing sad song if you are happy. We need to know where we are but clearly the scripture did not say anything about dancing. We can't say senseless and they are not sing with holy spirits. The person full with holy spirits are happy person. Is there any passage that would say not to dance? Of course not referring to rock dance or pop dance out there.

  • @eracings I think there is a problem ,if you read carefully you will see that people "dance " in the bible as a result of something that God had done eg, the crossing of the read sea . but most churches dance as the result of the moving of the music .that is my problem . Ellen White says " we have to guard the avenues of the soul " speaking about our senses , we have to go beyond our feelings , Satan can play with our feelings, church is not just about " having a good time " is more than that .

  • @eracings I have family members that belong to pentecostal churches and their Christian experience is just about "feelings"In my experience I have seen most of these people ,don't study the bible just belong to church that makes them feel good . We are living in very difficult times when the line of separation between the holy and the profane is hard to see the divided line , Will the people of God cling to their feelings or to the word of God ? People call this the moving of the spirit ,

  • @eracings God is not the author of comfussion but of peace .I was raised in the church and it is sad to see it becoming more like a celebreation church , Does the three angels message need that type of " help" we need to give the trumpet a certain sound . Our people need to wake up and realize that , this is a serious matter , life or death , as a future Pastor , I have purposed in my heart not to allow this in my church , I know is not popular go against this but Iam accountable to God .

  • @Fredy197 God will give you strength pastor..you will find it hard..but go and fight the good fight

  • @eracings yes but the contemporaneous dance of nowadays is not the same as the dance in the past..or not?

  • @Fredy197 .......YOU ARE RIGHT.......................watch out..there are many aposta-liberals everywhere

  • nice bouncy sound to the heritage singers! i like!

  • @enessJHIRRI and what about the message...you like the "bouncy sound t"

    just that?

  • i like that hey!!hey!! part...

  • @serucollins hey hey hey...what a profound meaning...wow...what a deep message..hey hey hey...hey hey hey

  • I agree with you , it is even more sad that most of the people don't realize that .I am glad that you noticed that , Iam a future Pastor , and I think as a church we need to go back to the old paths . we need a revival and a reformation in our church !

  • Bling .God is the same yesterday today and forever .Seventh day adventist teachings same yesterday today and forever .Dont judge the church on individuals that says or does things that goes against the teachings of the HOLY BIBLE . Remember there was a judas amongst the deciples of christ .People change but the church belief and principle still stands .HAPPY SABBATH

  • @ana3393 maravillosa? really? q tiene de maravillosa?lo q veo es a unos pentecostales cantando y q se bailan

  • Thanks! Sharing National Sunday Law by A. Jan Marcussen!!

  • Adrianne is really getting into this song at the 1.00 point.

  • if this music is ok.. then how about some more modern music... and if modern music is ok.. then how about singing some good old opera arias in the sanctuary.. and if singing opera is ok in a sanctuary, how about lets sing some "Phantom of the Opera" in the sanctuary. They did just this at LLU church last night.

  • wow. they wouldn't allow drums even if it were for Jesus? Hmm. that's sad. i always thought that God wanted us to praise him with all our heart, mind, soul, body, etc-- but i guess it's all that minus moving your body which means no drums no fast pace beats no rythm...because of the way your body reacts to it..oh well, i don't really like this kind of music. BUT i do like the heritage singers! (: btw--thanks for posting!

  • Thanks for posting

  • Praise God that Heritage is out there sharing God's love with so many. I for one will most definately be dancing & singing for joy when I get to heaven!!! God bless you Heritage & hope you keep on singing! Love you guys & gals!

  • thank you for understanding! i have nothing against blinkblink1983, but i believe that praising God could be expressed in many ways, not just by sing old hymns, with just a piano. I too, will also stand to my feet and prais the lord for what he has done, he gave me hope, he gave me life!! And i truly believe thats something worth praising for!!!

  • gotta love the comments!!

  • can someone share the liryc please thanks

  • @laurayelias :LYRICS FOR U : hey, hey,hey hey hey hey hey hey hey hey heyh ehey : hey, hey,hey hey hey hey hey hey hey hey heyh ehey : hey, hey,hey hey hey hey hey hey hey hey heyh ehey : hey, hey,hey hey hey hey hey hey hey hey heyh ehey

  • how long till our church will be dancing like other charismatic group? how sad how talented people misuse their talents for the Lord. When i was watching this, my feet almost started to tap on the floor and then just realized it's not a pop band playing..see how rythm affects people's emotion...sad sad..better listen to david assherick's message about music..

  • Dude whats wrong with you? this is a new age stop living in the past. i was at this concert, infact i was the person who was running the sound board its a huge almost 5 foot long sound board. my point is that all of us media workers worked realy hard to prodeuce this. we also worked realy hard just to ger them to come to our churh. by the way, ima a technical director at this chuch, im only 14. i've acctualy been exvused from school to help out because of this tallent god has given me.

  • Lil brother QUADS1234, nobody is discounting your hard work and talent. But if you'd come from where I, and apparently BLINKBLINK, come from, you'd understand how dramatically the church has veered from many of the teachings we remember, that were instilled in us at a very early age, and were told would never change. See, we were expecting Christ's return long ago, were told that it was imminent -- now! Who could've foreseen we'd still all be here in 2009, with the new styles and everything?

  • There's nothing wrong with me. And did I hear it right? this is a new age so stop living in the past? So you are saying that our church should lower our standard and play the music like the world does because it's a new age??? So you've got talent? I just hope you use it for the glory of God not for yourself or for the people.

  • i understand that you grew up in the way that ellen g. white said was correct, but she was living back in the 1800s and part of the

1900's that was a completly diffrent time! now us younger people (not saying that your old) have found a way to prais the Lord in a way that we feel is rite, at least to us, i have nothing against your beliefs, i actualy respect wat you believe, just as God respects what we belive, but i do believe that it doesnt matter how we prais the lord, the point is

  • Yes, we can praise God in soooo many ways, but in ways that according to His standard/will and not just how we want it and not just because we feel good about it. Our heart is the deceitful above all things, so even we feel good about something but if it's not what God wants us to do then we must not do it or stop doing it. The law that was written by the prophets in the Old Testament was not even lowered by Jesus when He came to earth, same also to us, the right way is still and will still be

  • @quads1234 DID YOU WORK REALLY HARD TO GET THEM TO COME TO CHURCH..THERE WERE CONVERTIONS, ?

CHANGE IN THE CHURCH...LIVE CHANGING EXPERIENCES?

    WORK HARD FOR THAT DUDE

  • I agree with you, blinkblink. Kind of has the sound of an old "Hee Haw" song. Ivor Meyers also has an excellent sermon on music.

  • We are of one church but so sad that one believes this and the other believes that :( sad sad. Maranatha!! I've listened to some of Ivor Myers' sermons and they're great. There's no such thing as Christian rock music, nor Christian marijuana. Don Moen (I think he's baptist) has more mellow songs than these people...it's a bit funny and sad as well :(

  • Hey, BLINKBLINK1983. Adventism has surely changed since I was an active member. I was raised in it very intensely, in the most primitive, Ellen-White-adhering way (no pants for women, no TV, no dairy, etc.). Even the Heritage Singers were frowned upon. I was at Oakwood College in Huntsville a few years ago and thought I was at a secular university. I was truly shocked. I don't know what to think anymore. It's just different than I remember. This song would not have been allowed when I was a kid.

  • Yeah, it's amazing how people in our church adapt the system, music and way of the world. I'm a huge music fan myself and of course when we think our church's music, first thing that should come to mind is, we will think of heavenly things when we listen to them but listening to this type of music? You can even dance to it. It's sad though that those people who still keep the way of old as they say are called fanatics and legalist.People would sa it doesn't matter what the beating is as long----

  • as the lyrics is good, yes true their lyrics is great but the question is how does our mind and body reacts whenever we hear this kind of song? Do you know Craig Newborn? He's from Oakwood...his sermons are great. Well, our colleges and universities are now becoming so loose in their standard. But I believe that God has still His chosen ones to stand up against the odds and stand for Christ and live according to His standards and not of men

  • And I'm the hugest music fan. I've been "worldly" for a very long time. Haven't been to church in decades. I said what I said just recalling my intense SDA upbringing. I'm not qualified to cast judgment, but I was just saying that things are so different now than when I was active in the church. Where I grew up, The Heritage Singers were frowned upon because they used drums and electric instruments and what were deemed "rock" elements. Some called them the "Heretic Swingers." It was a weird time

  • i like the Heritage Singers, now is in Romania (07.2008)

  • Wonderfull

  • who is between shany and val?

  • That's Nathan Hatley (Val's nephew).

He has filled in occasionally in the past.

  • Oops. I mean Val's cousin (Max & Lucy's nephew)
