The reason she was probably nervous was because Johnny was in full swing of his pill addiction at this time, especially during this appearance. Pay close attention to Johnny and his erratic behavior, rocking back and forth, etc. He's like a live wire and I'm sure June was overwhelmed by this unfortunate turn. It's almost hard to watch Johnny behaving like a junkie...

Seems to me she was just rubbing her knees. People do that all the time today. It's called a nervous habit. People do it when they talk. I don't think it has anything to do with old fashioned polite decorum.

Lol, nowadays you don't see women trying to act polite like that when they scratch their knees. Lol that sounds bad but I think we all get the point. No offense to Johnny, but he needed ALL the encouragement he could get. I never noticed that before, lol.
