I went there last year. Amazing experience. Went treking, cooked for myself, met new people, got to go dune-boarding (so awesome, but I fell twice XD) and went up to Dune 45 and watched the sunrise. Namaibia is a beautiful country :)
Namibia needs to focus on attracting more manufacturing to the country to reduce unemployment and sustain economic growth. It has to do this while maintaining natural beauty. It can be done.
Don't forget to eat plenty of snook when you go and drink windhoek larger. If you have a car and get to Windhoek visit Joes Beer House then keep driving somewhere nice like erongo wilderness lodge. Best place to stay.

I was in Namibia around 18 months ago. My happiest memories are that of the beautiful animals in Etosha Pan and the luxurious lodges. I found the barbed wire, high fences, AK47s and backyard rottweilers quite depressing. Windhoek is a lovely city. I have posted various film clips of people going about their everyday lives.

Talking, movement, paints, viedeos and many other are ways the humans have to express emotions, feelings, ideas; and from my view, this video complies to this matter 100%, it makes experience Namibia from your PC, it makes feel the heat of its desert, surrounded by animals in Etosha, or even the peace of Dagmara Land, it doesnt matter if u r watching it from Manhattan.
I am a surfer and have heard great things about the beaches there. However, is it a stable place? Would hate to go and end up in the middle of a civil war or something of that nature.

I love this country. It's Africa's best kept secret. A beach in the desert, what's not to love? It's a really gr8 place, and visiting it is a good idea (low crime r8, little pollution, a leader in eco-frendliness...& (as DSTV would say) so much more)
Namibia is a feeling, once you have been there you'll yearn to go back. The red sand dunes in Sossusvleim the scenery between the distant towns and the hundreds of animals in Etosha are inbelievable. I never tire of visiting.

I am going there on a World Challenge Expedition, and I was really unsure as to whether Namibia would be the greatest place to go - I thought it was just desert and elephants. I was wrong!
I am really looking forward to my trip now, and I can even see the absolute wonder of how vast and beautiful the Namib Desert is!
Took a 2 week road trip starting in namibia, going throught Botswana, into Zimbabwe back to Namibia. Namibia is by far the most interesting country on the trip

im considering going there right now. reasons:
1. one of the least populated countries (im really sick of people right now)
2. a relatively christian country (im not a christian, but was brought up in this kind of world)
3. the nature is undescribeable (all big african animals, ocean, dessert)
4. hot weather

Talking, movement, paints, viedeos and many other are ways the humans have to express emotions, feelings, ideas; and from my view, this video complies to this matter 100%, it makes experience Namibia from your PC, it makes feel the heat of its desert, surrounded by animals in Etosha, or even the peace of Dagmara Land, it doesnt matter if u r watching it from Manhattan.

I am a surfer and have heard great things about the beaches there. However, is it a stable place? Would hate to go and end up in the middle of a civil war or something of that nature.

I must say, this is a very nice country and it has been discovered already by so many people. That means, more tourist will go there and the wild life will be disturbed.. more and more people will travel to this place.. more people will think about opening a business here cuz of the tourism industry and it will destroy the whole preservation of this country.. hopefully people who will tour the country should respect the wildlife and also the country.. don't go overboard.. nice video btw

I love this country. It's Africa's best kept secret. A beach in the desert, what's not to love? It's a really gr8 place, and visiting it is a good idea (low crime r8, little pollution, a leader in eco-frendliness...& (as DSTV would say) so much more)

Namibia is a feeling, once you have been there you'll yearn to go back. The red sand dunes in Sossusvleim the scenery between the distant towns and the hundreds of animals in Etosha are inbelievable. I never tire of visiting.

Wow, this video is excellently edited and really seems to give such an insight into Namibia.
I am going there on a World Challenge Expedition, and I was really unsure as to whether Namibia would be the greatest place to go - I thought it was just desert and elephants. I was wrong!
I am really looking forward to my trip now, and I can even see the absolute wonder of how vast and beautiful the Namib Desert is!

Took a 2 week road trip starting in namibia, going throught Botswana, into Zimbabwe back to Namibia. Namibia is by far the most interesting country on the trip
