If doctor Ed Wheat taught Jim Bob everything he knows. He sure doesn't know much! I've read those books of his for shits and giggles and he has a negative view of perfectly acceptable sexual practices between a married couple. i.e his view on oral sex is that it disrupts communication between a married couple. This and other things in his book make no sense. I feel sorry for Josh if this is all the education that he gets.

The girls ages 16- 21 are mini-Michelles caring for younger children, cleaning the house, doing the laundry, cooking etc all to prepare them for a marriage after courtship with a suitor of the family's approval. They are not permitted to date boys/men unless it is a serious commitment on the part of the boy/male who is ready for marriage.

The children don't watch TV or have access to facebook or twitter all they know is what their parents teach them.

The Duggar parents are super control freaks.

I think you can definitely know you're in love with someone without kissing them. I'm not going to kiss until I'm at least engaged but most likely waiting until my wedding day. Love isn't about how you feel when the person kisses you, but that you love their personality and you want to spend the rest of your life with them. You can definitely still be physically attracted to them. And to the person who said that they didn't want to kiss, I'm sure they wanted to, but they wanted it to be special.

In Western tradition, and I suppose from this video more so from the more eastern and western states that marriage is something full of lust and passion. But it is not. Yea, that's all wonderful and hunkey dorey, and sex is probably great lol, but marriage is about two people committed to making that relationship work, no matter what, and supporting and caring for each other. Once you find someone who can fulfill that, nothing else is really necessary. All of that other stuff is extra.
