well alfred was always treated as the infior shadow to alexia, and when she went into criosis alfred grew insane cause she was the one giving him all the moral support and without her alfred started to create a split personality to stop himself from insanity, although it didnt work as planned, his alter-ego consumed him and he became alexia. in darkside chronicles the antagonists from 2 & cv are turned tragic, and are antagonized to a point, first annette, poor her, and now alfred is victim too
