  • One person isn't inclined to believe they ever could.

  • Bunch of red necks and hill billies.

  • Why do I feel like the person who disliked this has no taste in music whatsoever?

  • I was named after this song!!

  • Saw Neil in concert. It sucked. I was expecting some sort of orchestra, strings, brass etc. Only synthesizer trying to sound like an orchestra. Ripped off by such a fabulous artist.

  • @pennypassport Bollocks, sorry I meant prove it. Maybe you saw a very good tribute artist.

  • Damn I ment sweet Caroline

  • Love when he sing sweat Caroline

  • Yeah, Craig Ferguson! ;-)

  • Its Craig!!!!!!

  • Sweet Caroline...So Good,So Good. Excellent audience particiption. Wish I was there.

  • @sodiumchloride123 lol hey...the guy, and I mean Neil, has fans!

  • I've seen him in concert several times and he's awesome!! Plus, on top of that, you got to be there for this wonderful event...I LOVE the Boston Pops and especially this show. Maybe someday I'll get there for it....it's on my "bucket list."

  • i was there ~ everyone on the esplanade sang ~ it was cool =)

  • i was in front row with nat. guard!!!

  • GOD BLESS THE USA!!

  • best 4th concert Boston ever had that I attended!

  • Are we tired of this song yet?????????

  • @Gadavidagal no

  • No way,. we will sing forever. heheh

  • That was a GREAT concert. Not just Neil, but the orchestra was unbelievable, especially with the 1812 overture. And to have those jets do that flyover at the beginning still sends chills down my spine.

  • That's cool.

  • RED SOX NATION ALL THE WAY

  • Neal WHY Did you not wear the Red Sox hat in

Boston on the 4th of July. You did not even acknowledge the Boston Red Sox, while in Boston.

  • You all were GREAT!! I watched in Illinois and made my first playlist thanks to Neil and Sweet Caroline. Mark you calendars for Friday, August 14 - Hot August Nights on CBS is our next time to see Neil.

  • I was right across the river from him. It was my very first 4th of July in Boston.

  • I went to the Boston Pops for the first time this year and it was really fun and they had great fireworks. I had no clue who Neil Diamond was before this but me and my cousin went on the computer to look up sweet caroline lyrics and we sang our hearts out that night......she woke up with a sore throat though!!

  • unreal awsome people person, great performance my mom is 80 loves you now i no why god bless our troops ty neil

  • HA! Then you are one of the ones responsible for scaring the beejeebies out of me! On Friday nite I didn't expect the cannons at that point and nearly dropped my camera. It was funny...and it was awesome! It had to be fun having him come up front -- with the whole audience singing behind you, Thanks for your service!

  • I was one of the Army soldiers up front whom he came and sang with!!! So much fun!

(We also fired the cannons for the 1812 Overture)

  • looking for the video of the little girl who sang the pledge.. can someone send me the link please?

  • THANK YOU! I was watc hong on TV and wondered what happened. Go Red Sox!

  • I was there but i wasnt at the stage, it was really fun though! I was on the side by the water.... If you know where that was..... This was the first time i went to Boston and i loved it :) My new video is our vacation there if you want to check it out.

  • I too was lucky enough to see Neil perform. First time I ever saw him perform in person. I was sitting near my annual spot near the Arthur Fiedler foot bridge.

If anyone ever plans on coming here in the future, do yourselves all a favor, ARRIVE EARLY!!! Myself and others arrived around 1pm, and the oval was already crowded.

  • I was there too, although not at the stage, I was along the river watching the fireworks. As loud as the crowd sounds here, it was something special hearing everyone sing along while so far away from the action.

  • SO GOOD! SO GOOD!

  • This is great for those of us who didn't get to see the show. I miss A&E's airing of the entire show!! I missed the CBS broadcast last night. Looks like everyone was having a wonderful time. Thank you for sharing all of your videos from this wonderful show!! I just love Neil Diamond!!

  • LUCKY!! i was there, but across the river with the other half million people! we all listened to him sing and watched the fireworks!

  • You're SO lucky!!! I would have killed to be there!!!

  • What a fun night you must have had! I've seen him 12 or 13 times over the years going back to '76. Glad to see he's still got it. Thanks.

  • that he sang it a 2nd time during the commercial break. maybe not a surprise for you...but for us in the audience it was awesome!

  • what was the extra big surprise??
