Thanks for the tutorial, but I have a single and basic problem... I can't import anything. I tried .avi with multiple compressor, but none work (they don't show up or wax crash). What type of file should I use and how do I convert them to it ?
heydude i need some help..... ok... so i got wax i made a greenscreen video i saved t as avi then when i try to import it it says unable to open video file when i can use it on windows movie makerwhats that program you said you use? for changing the mp3 codecs or whatever
I think I said WinFF. I think. I may have been using something different at the time. Either way, I know what I use now, and that is the k-lite codec pack, and WinFF
Because my phone records video at the same frame rate (15fps) as youtube converts to, and its records at a higher resolution than youtube will display, making it sufficient for youtube videos. Also, the whole point is that you can, in fact, make a halfway decent video using just your phone and some free software. Thanks for checking out my video, I hope this info helped.
no sorry you cant. I just used chroma keying in the video that I used to show how to chroma keying. Make sense? I did all the narration first and then synced my actions up to my own voice later to do this.
hey man props for showing this. I got WAX hte other day and i no clue what could work as a green screen for my next project. I just came back from walmart and just like you said, 76 cent Flourescent Green poster board. Just got 15 of them to cover my wall. heehee. But again thank you so much for posting this. This has got to be THE cheapest way to get a reliable chroma key effect!!
Can u use any soft ware Like : Windows movie maker

can you import any video formats other than wav and avi ? and if not, do you use video conversion software
FridgeGunk 2 years ago
No, you can't. You can import JPG images though. I use winFF to do all my conversion.

Wax supports audio, you just don't get a live prieview. Render the video and the audio will be there.

hey whats the software that you are using

Why in the world did you use a camera phone?

so you can chroma-key on real-time footage? Is that going straight from the camera into the editor?

mind adding subtitles? at some points your voice gets way lower than other times....
(meaning that I would have to keep my hand on the volume control to not have the sound comming out too loud or too low)

I've noticed that too... Not sure why it's like that. Audio in wax has worked exactly *once* for me.
