For instance the states with large populations were industrial centers of industries that have faced competition from globalization. The less populated ones have economies based on natural resources. There are less problems and mess money is spent in states with extremely low populations. Those places tend to be conservative. There is no causation proven that the conservative political climate caused that to be the case. Your method of logic used to make conclusions is hopelessly flawed.

Come to find out a few years after signing, I had a Toxic Loan, that shot my monthly up by 3 times the original, just because the market went haywire, it was hidden in a tiny lettered paragraph hidden in with some other information.
At signing, when i started asking too many questions, I was told "We can end here and you won't have a house"
@WildBillforAmerica Yes, and when I started to get up and leave, I was handed a piece of paper (that I was not allowed to keep), from the Title Insurance company's Lawyer stating I would be sued for the full amount of the house plus "damages", which said lawyer said would be 10-20% of the mortgage.
I have since found out that they could NOT do that, but I did not know at the time.
@WildBillforAmerica My house was finally taken this last November, but the mortgage company is still trying to come after me, even though I gave the house up in a Chapter 7 bankruptcy, and they are still tagging my credit. My Bankruptcy Lawyer is still dealing with this, but I have found out from a Real Estate Broker I know that this is how the banks and lenders are acting.

If you look closer, go by county by county, you will find that the rural, ag based counties are more conservative. In California, the counties on the coast. What is far more important is the states that has the most, actual, freedoms.
I.e; New York being listed as the worst state in the country for civil liberties.

I live about 3 hours from Detroit (NOT in MI!!) and have been there several times in my 50 years. The last time was about 7 years ago, and it IS the LAST time. It truly does look like a war zone, once beautiful buildings trashed and afraid to walk down the street in the light of day. So sad, to see such a thing in America. While we spend TRILLIONS "nation building" all over the world, we have such destruction here, via greedy democrat politicians and unions.

@moreoveru Assuming events in a small economy will always mirror those in a large economy. But instead different things happen in different populations. For instance the states with large populations were industrial centers of industries that have faced competition from globalization. The less populated ones have economies based on natural resources. See it is you who fail by not take more factors into account. Your lack of a logical process that accounts for differences fails you.

There are less problems and mess money is spent in states with extremely low populations. Those places tend to be conservative. There is no causation proven that the conservative political climate caused that to be the case. Your method of logic used to make conclusions is hopelessly flawed.

Bill, I live in a super liberal state..New York. You'd have to take a sedative if you saw the stupid waste we see daily. Our Dem Gov (while we were already sinking) issued a special check to every Welfare Mom in the state last Fall. @$300 PER *child for school stuff. BUT the *kids didnt have to be children, they did not have to live at home or even be single, & they didnt have to be in school of any kind. Wamart said the line for Big Screen TV's was around the block the day the checks came out.

@Edav38 You're probably right about the foreclosures,except that it was the residents who signed for the loans they cannot seem to pay (who's responsible for that?)....California is sinking economically (how many other states pay their workers with I.O.U.s??)...and so many people are leaving your state that other states are complaining about the "Californication" of their states.

How many of them Had the economic & real estate education necessary to understand what it all meant? Heck, they Do Not Even teach how to balance a check book in schools, they didn't when i was in HS 25 years ago, and they are Opposed to doing so today, much less the way money, lending, ect works. @WildBillforAmerica When I got my mortgage, I knew Nothing about mortgages, thought I did, but come to find out I didn't. Come to find out a few years after signing, I had a Toxic Loan, that shot my monthly up by 3 times the original, just because the market went haywire, it was hidden in a tiny lettered paragraph hidden in with some other information.
At signing, when i started asking too many questions, I was told "We can end here and you won't have a house"

@WildBillforAmerica Yes, and when I started to get up and leave, I was handed a piece of paper (that I was not allowed to keep), from the Title Insurance company's Lawyer stating I would be sued for the full amount of the house plus "damages", which said lawyer said would be 10-20% of the mortgage.
I have since found out that they could NOT do that, but I did not know at the time.

@WildBillforAmerica My house was finally taken this last November, but the mortgage company is still trying to come after me, even though I gave the house up in a Chapter 7 bankruptcy, and they are still tagging my credit. My Bankruptcy Lawyer is still dealing with this, but I have found out from a Real Estate Broker I know that this is how the banks and lenders are acting.

Yes, they Should have known more, and kept pushing till they got the knowledge, but at the SAME TIME the "Experts" should NOT have been trying to Screw people over just to make a profit!

If you look closer, go by county by county, you will find that the rural, ag based counties are more conservative. In California, the counties on the coast. LA, Santa Cruz, Marin, votes liberal. along with the big cities. the rural counties in eastern California vote conservative. California is where Reagon came from, remember? Look at other states, Minniasota, New York, and you will see the same thing. We just get out voted.
