  • this had a major lack of talent...thank god im aussie and dont have to watch that

  • Yes...the rest of you can go home.

  • embaressing...

  • Wow, soon as I heard the accent, I exited...

  • so shitty in comparison to the aussie version

  • I agree times ten. Especially that stupid screaming guy. THis was terrible.

  • Only funny part was when Dave Foley upstaged everyone and kissed the guy.

  • That was stupid, they hav taken it a bit to far. Australians version is better.

  • Yeah this was a sorry excuse for a show, if they get this show going in America again they need to get a more create bunch.

  • wow...she is such a slut. that was horrible, the worst thank god your here in the entire world...aussie one is so much better

  • thier humour is so typical and lame

  • Jesus christ now wonder she's always playing slags hahahaa

  • shit!! this sucks!! american version sucks shit! australian owns all!

  • aussie aussie aussie

  • oi oi oi

  • this version sux

  • For once something another country has taken from Australia , and failed miserably . I love Tom Green , but I can't even watch the end of this .

  • this is disgraceful

  • Yeah, show is exactly the same. It needs to use stand up comics to be succesful.

  • this is crap the american version sux ass

  • No this clip sucks.. there's some really great comedians in America, you just gotta watch the right ones. There's a English version to.

  • this is just terrible

  • she's a skankola!!! that just became unfunny with all the saliva swapping.

  • Yet there's applause.

    hmmm

  • well just for everyone....TGYH is the same show...it doesn't really matter which country...the show is great in america, australia, uk, etc. but the comedians are different...generally cruder and less witty per-se in america (this is also shown in the american version of the office compared to UK's version)

  • Show maybe the same, but country has everything to do with it.

  • Lol the actual onset actors aren't supposed to be the funny ones.

  • The American version is either really bad or i don't understand American humour. The UK one is at least better than this..but the Aussie version rocks it!

  • Not funny at all

  • us version got nothin on the aussi 1 onlything good bout it was shannon elizibeth she is HOT!!!!!

  • who won?

  • This is over-the-top and completely lacking in style. But then I've some to expect that from American comedy.

  • this is soooooo crap. the aussie version is hilarious. i guess that's wat happens wen we sell original aussie ideas to the US.

  • that probably happens when you turn us television into aussie television as well though...

but i do prefer the australian

  • LMAO! why isnt this on anymore???

  • The US TGYH is just soooooooo bad!!!

    Aussie all the way!

  • oh god.

    this makes me cringe.

    the american version is terrible..

  • God, that was... simply horrible. Green was a total moron, none of them attempted to help move the script along, and apparently everybody randomly kissing everyone else is funny. TGYH is funny because it's interesting to see exactly how people might react to a situation, and while it's usually done humourously, at least it sort of makes sense within the context.

Both the Australian and the UK version were much better. Cause they had Hamish Blake and he is the best at TGYH ever.

  • ahn do is pretty funny too...

"what was your aim when designing this car?

"to make a car that'll run on dim sims!"

  • I think the funniest part was when the second guy tripped when entering the room. And even that only deserved a half-smile.

This is disgraceful, I completely agree with wuttup123. Aussie TGYH is heaps better.

  • This is horrible, a disgrace to TGYH. The Australian version is way better and I'm American.

  • You got taste, dude!

  • Every time Dave Foley kisses a man, I feel very good about life. :)

  • this is balls

  • What's the blonde girls name? She was the best one, imo.

  • looks like chelsey handler

  • Cheers!

  • The main problem (of many) in the US version is that the guests don't work with the ensemble cast, to go along with the script they have planned for them.

  • By the way, total lack of talent on Tom Green's behalf.

  • what the hell just happened?

  • Is it just me or is this show not funny? AT ALL.

  • are the ensumble (sp?) actors supposed to make so many jokes as well?

  • stupid yanks they even steal the scenarios the aussies did! lame as!! come up with ur own crap!

  • Well Working Dog, the company who created the Aussie version, did sell the concept on a global scale... I'm sure they'd have put some if not all of the scenarios in there to be used... If I was a production company being sold the concept I'd probably want something a bit more than "They go through a blue door and it's CRAAAZY!" for my money, haha.

  • fair call

  • yea but u must admit that was the most pointless piece of shit ever!

  • Woah. I bet you think we all ride kangaroos to work.

  • i certainly don't. i'm sorry about what i wrote, but one of your countrymen said something rude about americans and i couldn't help but comment. apologies.

  • It's the same everywhere, we use the same scenes in the Swedish TGYH, and I'm sure they do in the UK version as well. They're selling the whole package.

  • Warp speed!!!

  • This is so boring! The aussie version is way better!

  • Aussie Pride Mate =]

  • How does the audience find that funny?? Pfffft!

    AUSSIE AUSSIE AUSSIE!!!!

  • shut up

  • *yawn* ...no i actually mean it...i yawned...

i didnt laugh once during this...and yet i havent gone through a single Thank God Your Here australian episode in 3 series without NOT laughing...is there a connection here? ill let you and your tiny american brains figure it out

  • lol, it's funny to see that you used triple negative in that comment. So in effect you are saying that you haven't laughed EVER in an episode of Aus TGYH!! TGYH is arguably the best comedy show on Aussie tv.

  • Aussies are so much better at this, we actualy use comedy, not just kissing to wow our audiences ... shocker i know!

  • Wow.....That was crap. Aussie TGYH is so much better.

  • this WAS crap. Seeing both versions, I can't say i like either version better, but I do like certain skits better. I have to say Harland Williams did the best job. And this vid helped me realized Tom Green sucks ass... through a straw.

  • Lol, I think I'd agree actually. However, I still prefer Aussie TGYH.

  • It's really quite easy to see why Drew Barrymore left Tom Green...

He's no star. These aren't hard scenes, and anyone who has ever done Theatresports will attest to the fact that this seems relatively easy to improvise to because they have a full set, costumes, and actors handing them jokes on a silver platter...

  • omg u guys r all right. i didnt think america tgyh would of been that different. aussie all the way!

  • wtf that was so shit. Australian one is a billion times better. She thought it was funny to kiss everyone, it was just shit

  • shannon elizabeth is hot. huge idiot though.

  • australian tgyh is so much better. and funnier. all this had to offer was a ota kissin

  • WTF? that was sooooo crap

  • I love the aussie version too, but Dave Foley is one of my favourite comedians EVER. I posted this to share with my friends, but the rest of Youtube is welcome to watch. :P

  • americans definitely hav better music taste... damien leith is crap

  • u should c the aussie version of the same skit, akmal's battlecry was soooooo funny! n all the girls think about is sex! NOT FUNNY!!! aussies rule the world in comedy... we've also got the chaser... n the judge is NOT SUPPOSED TO GET UP!!!

  • let alone have the camera contiuously cross to him through out the skit.

  • australian tgyh is way better

  • that was so shit. american tgyh is crap

  • yep its totally crap.....i have no idea what the audience is laughing at. not even funny. americans have no idea.
