@tiggerjayeward of course it depends on internet speed but when people say 'chrome is faster' I believe they are referring to the processing speed of the browser itself - for instance - GIF images seem to run much more fluid in chrome as opposed to IE - even if the internet speed is the same!

If you want one at a discounted price, Google search 'refurbished macs' and click the link to the OFFICIAL Apple website - Unless stated otherwise, They come with a full Apple warranty so don't be discouraged by the word 'refubished'. The only thing you wont get is the original white apple box.

Seems like it's main function is to free up small amounts of hard disk. Storage is so cheap these days. Just buy a 1TB ext drive for $100. Problem solved.

Mackeeper has many functions, one of them is to free space. It is also very good for security and stats.
Yes storage is cheaper now but it always makes sense to remove unnecessary files.
