  • Fantastic work!

The movement is spot on, the jelly fish looks great, and the scene looks very real.

    Again, fantastic work!

  • @oliversimonnet Thank you so much for you support. ^_____^

  • Amazing. I would not be able to tell a real jelly fish from this creation. What is your very beginner advice to someone totally new to this?

  • nice work mate, what about the body did you skin it or used deformer,!

  • Great video. Keep up the good work.

  • Wow, this is so so so awesome !! Brilliant job !!

  • Pretty cool! How did you do the animation?

  • Beautiful work!

  • Any chance for us to see the rig? Brilliant animation I like it a lot. Good luck.

  • this looks great- how did you create the material? I can't seem to get that diffused transparency....

  • @christiandarkin I used Mia material...which is you can blur something in side. (reflaction blur + glossy.)... at last , I render passes out... like ...fresnel pass , diffuse, luminance. ..caustics.

  • WONDERFUL!!!

  • Very cool.

What did you use for the particles ? They look real.

  • Still loving this animation! What did you use to do the under water light rays effect?

  • @wildnomad007 : thanks for loving it .I used ocean 2d texture node and plug into color channel of spotlight. It's very flexible, u can adjust the value and set it as something like caustic pattern . For me i animate the time value by using simple expression >>>> ocean1.time = time. have fun !!! ^______^ ..

  • @Aumfreaky Yes, I realised that you used the ocean texture for the caustic effect. I was wondering how you got the volume light beams coming through the water? Thanks for the expression! :-)

  • wow ! I love your work! Amazing! I could not tell that it's not real!

  • @hiKrittiya : Thank you very much for your support. hope u like it.......^________^

  • great job!

a tutorial would be much appreciated :)

  • That's a lovely animation, great work! What effects did you use? Maya cloth, paint effects, Softbodies, etc?

  • @wildnomad007 I used hair in maya as ik spline for controling the tentacles. for the top part i just used the normal rigging & animated it manually.

  • the best jellyfish animation I've seen on youtube so far, nice environment too!!!

  • nice animation and color.

How long did it took u to render it? :P

  • I leaved the rendering for 1 night. I used render passes & composited it in After fx.

  • good job!
