Have u seen them live? Pretty much any band you watch on youtube sounds flat!!! But when you're actually there its amazing!!! It is so difficult to sing in tune live because you can't hear yourself like you normally can.

I've seen them live 3 times now and they were brilliant every time.

I know exactly what you mean, even with huge foldbacks you cant hear yourself over the crowd, bands like The Wombats it isnt so bad, But when Alex turner walks on stage and all the girls start going crazy i bet they cant hear anything, which is why its brilliant that they can still play it so tightly live! Its what makes them brilliant.

I think he was high on this video anyway, it would explain alot.

I disagree. Hannah Montana is oddly popular with kids up until their 20s, and Britney Spears is not always just a joke. It depends on where you live, really. Certain states have better taste than others, I can tell you that. The things I hear in Los Angeles, versus NYC, versus Houston, versus Chicago are actually quite different. Yes, those bands are popular. But so are shitty cookie-cutter bands like Panic! At the Disco and All Time Low.
