QM is slightly odd and different from classical mechanics in that it has some diffuse non local qualities but that oddity has nothing to do with the oddity that is the spiritual. QM is just physics.

i can see why some people would think this sounds like mumbo-jumbo, but read the book. the entire book, minus style and a bit of reflection, is a list of legitimate experiments by legitimate scientists. There's really not any opinion in what she's saying, it's based in scientific experiment. Not to say that everything she's saying is correct, but it is all based on research. Amazing book, almost as objectively written as a book of words can be!

However, the message that I believe she is trying to convey is that if we realize that we are all connected then we wouldn't be trying to get the upper hand on others; we wouldn't engage in disputes, wars, and other damaging altercations.

My view is that this is not a new concept. If you read the Bible it takes into consideration that our actions affect others, that the holy spirit is like an energy field. This is incompatible with Christianity, actually. Attempting to identify a physical quantity (energy) with any of the members of the Trinity would be a misunderstanding. They are "persons."
