i don't know about utterly repellent, but she's imperfect. i think it's unusual for somebody her age to be single, and that makes her an interesting mix of dull and adventurous. she has every reason to put a restraining order on Mark but she keeps letting him be a part of her life -- i think that shows that she's humble and has a heart. she'd be a distractingly unrealistic character if she wasn't played so well. and she's definitely cute in a ducky sort of way.

Everyone says that said episode of Peep Show is the best because all of them are truly magnificent.

but this one has such a tight plot (Jez gets Jury service, genius, screwing defendant and then getting her sent down GENIUS) ,

It has great great lines (Jez: ..we (musicians) answer to a higher.. if it feels good do it.. Mark: ..its not all a conspiracy to keep you in little..) ,

It also has the 12 angry men film references which are genuinely hilarious.

Technically/comically this is the most complete episode IMHO I have seen it more than 10 times. Is that wrong :)
