This is just one of those games that had an aura of mystique about it. Tebow stories, the 4th downs, USC losing, the fake field goal. Just awesome stuff.
I am so happy that I will always be able to say I was there to witness this game. No, it wasn't as good as that USC/Texas game, but it was an instant classic. Very well could be the greatest LSU game ever. And I agree, out of all the games I've been through, the loudest it ever got is when they announced USC had lost in the third quarter.
sad that they didn't actually have a camera recording when the initial reaction to the USC/Stanford game was announced. that was the LOUDEST I've ever heard Tiger Stadium.
that was such a great 20 minutes when the stadium was exploding with sound. and the best part was we were losing the game when that was announced...ballsy Mr. Borne, very ballsy.
@TheAviator504 I agree! I couldn't hear myself think, and i tried to say something to my cousin but it was pointless you couldn't hear anything...that was the loudest moment at an LSU game i ever heard
@lsunationalchamps08 I agree with your agreement! I wasn't kidding when I said I think that was the loudest I had ever heard Death Valley. I was there when we beat Florida in '97 when they were No.1, I was there when LSU beat Tennessee in '01 in overtime, and of course I was there in '07 when we won on the last play against Auburn.
And this game right here, was the LOUDEST EVER! I wonder if the Geology Dept. was still open and measuring activity during this game...
@TheAviator504 I've been too a bunch too! I was at the 07 auburn game too, which was an amazing game...But this game had so much intensity and you could just feel the electricity in the air..definitely a night I will never forget. I think everyone in the stadium knew that we were watching a Classic game
One of the greatest games in recent history. And Tebow is one of the greatest players on college football history, definitely the hardest working athlete I've ever seen. This coming from a diehard LSU fan.

@chiefs816kc I think it's close, but I'll agree that the LSU-Fla game was better.
