As of today, Monday, June 8, 2009, Diantha Harris continues to mentally abuse our children at Mary McArthur Elementary. It is three days from the day my daughter is to celebrate having obtained A Honor Roll for the whole school year. This woman stood in front of my daughter's class (not Diantha's class) and told the students that if they did not bring $2 for a gift to the school from the 5th graders they could not participate in their last Award Ceremony in elementary school.

Nothing happened to Diantha Harris. She is still indoctrinating children into the Marxist regime in North Carolina. The administration has no spine or male anatomy.

IMAO. I think the school and teacher should be investigated for violations of the Hatch Act and of hate crimes. I think the teacher should be fired, her teaching license revoked and they should investigate to see if this fascist policy of the indoctrination of racism and politics is widespread. Perhaps the superintendent and the school board and union should be investigated/prosecuted. There should be zero tolerance of racism, bullying and crime in school; especially with taxpayer money.

Over 500 WMDs were found in Iraq, SCUD missiles was even fired at coalition members, some coalition soldiers even got sick after exposure to chemical weapons used as IEDs. Dr. Harrison, did a nice job of acknowledging there was a problem. She most definately needs to be reprimanded. Browbeating or bullying call it what you will but if we discipline the kids for such well need I say more. Bully safe schools is the goal is it not. To all of our military, thank you for serving.

In addition to belittling her 10 year old students, MS Harris failed to follow prudent protocol in protecting her students privacy. An article in the FayObserver states she did NOT HAVE PERMISSION from the school to host a foreign film crew while they filmed minor children WITHOUT PARENTAL PERMISSION.

If that is true, EITHER ONE OF THESE IS GROUNDS FOR DISMISSAL.

The teacher said she knew the film crew was from a forgeign country. She knew this film was going to be broadcast in a foreign country. A FOREIGN COUNTRY ! She knew this was not the local Fayetteville TV station doing a positive piece on the community. An Award-Winning Foreign Film Crew portraying the United States of America in a hateful-negative manner. In a time of war, is this Aiding and Abetting The Enemy? Another area the investigation should consider.

For the sake of all the CCS teachers, their students, and the parents who trust us with their most precious gifts I beg you to please not let this matter be swept under the carpet! A teacher who devastates a child by bullying is far worse then any student bullying another, we as educators are supposed to be role models. If I remember correctly there is a zero tolerance for student-to-student bullying in the CCS and I would hope that rule applies (with the same consequenes) to teachers!

I preferred Obama over Mccain and agree this woman should be fired, or at least suspended for the rest of the academic year. Children don't need to be berated for who their parents favor politically. Obama is not some incorruptible savior, nor is their any garauntee he won't continue the same military policy that Mccain would continue. This is worse to me than any conservative agenda to instill prayer & mediation in public schools or demand KIDS pledge "allegiance to the flag of the USA"

Shame on you for not taking action against this teacher. I hope the parents sue you the teacher and the school's. But if it was a white teacher she would have been fired and it would have been called racism... Since its a black teacher lets just let it go! Shame on you. Maybe you should be fired also!
