They're still great, but they aren't much of the Spice Girls without Geri, I just feel I'm watching a different band, but they still sound as good though.
i hardly hear mel c's voice in the harmony part... victoria singing the melody is superb.. mel b's base is very good, emma on the high part is nice... maybe mel c's part is the most difficult...

Melanie C actually has the more limited range among them - she was, at this point, unable to go anywhere near a low note. She had a helluva set of lungs on her though, and she was great with said high note, being able to control her pitch wonderfully. Victoria actually had the most range - she can sink down into an awesome low note, sing mid-range and also deliver a good high note (listen to her on Forever!). Sadly, Posh's voice just isn't as naturally loud as the others.

Gerri was a lot of fun and contributed to their popularity with her spunk and GP gimmick, yes she was cool. But as a talent-she was useless and she was well aware of that. I remember she said she was a "jack of all trades, master at none". I still love her, but she can't sing or dance and she is proof that personality can take you quite far!
You´re right, i´m not being ironic, but think... Madonna wasn´t that good singer in her early days and even today i think she is a medium singer, and she is THE QUEEN, so i think Geri, just like Madonna, is the proof that singing isn´t everything, the atittude and the intelligence are more important.

Mel C sounded better in the Wembley concert when she did Geri's part. She sounded less off key. Then again Geri's voice is deeper than hers and Mel C did mainly harmonize with Geri's. Mel C sounds like she has trouble singing that verse cause it seems lower than what she usually sings.
The feisty five was great. They were a movement. They were spice. They were girl power. Bubblegum pop group. Very entertaining. So fun. That was when Geri was still in the group. However,when Geri left, no offense,the Spice Girls became really great singers. I mean,just look at this video. They're more of like those vocalists in showbands. Really nice.
