If you got such a voice, it's simply a waste of talent not to use it. AND above that, Darren Hayes understands transcendental romance like no singer does. Period.
could be lip sync, I actually like singers that adds new stuff to their performance, it proves to audience that it's not just lip synced performance, and shows their creativity in their singing. I watched his other insatiable live, he added some new stuff, and it was not bad.
I've said this before and I will say it again. Darren Hayes ha got to be the most beautiful man I have ever laid eyes on.

Darren doesn't need to lip sync, he sings better live than most people today.
Although it was the norm for CD:UK to have lip sync performances, there were a few who refused to sing unless it was live. Darren's one of them.
Besides, you can tell that it's live just by listening to it. It doesn't sound like the album track.
