  • @Ktwohig331 you need to do your homework and read up on squat pattern. Knees over toes contraindication is a total fallacy perpetuated by those who have little or no knowledge of biomechanics- probably still living in the 80's era of Jane Fonda workout videos. A single leg deadlift/RDL is probably the most effective way of consolidating bilateral hip extention movements in order to improve knee stability and spine-sparing pick-ups from the floor. Read Stuart McGill et al and get some education.

  • how can you show people these exercises when your form is demonstrating to them that letting your knees go past your toes in a squat is ok. I would love to see how long your knees or anyone elses who try those multiplanar squats are going to last, and that airplane thing is just a pepper grinder on the spine, good luck with all that though.

  • @Ktwohig331 When you pick up a piece of litter you have dropped, (which can essentially be a lunge or a single leg squat) do you do it with knees in line with toes and a perfect neutral spine? That is the reasoning behind this type of training and other types of multi-planar intergrated training, to use the body as you would in reality. Now of course correct technique should be emphised during a saggital plane squat and also with the addition of weight, but it doesnt always have to be the case.

  • Great work Diane, I can see by watching your videos that you have a solid program.
