  • How did you get your 4WD shifter so that is at stock height above the inside trim? mine is hiden by the boot because of my 4' body lift and makes it hard to shift.

  • @333solstice333 i believe the drive train was re mounted not sure i sold the truck and miss it alot but the stock height is actually alot higher

  • Fuck me I miss my 89....

    Hi Ziegelbauer,

ich gratuliere dir du hast es geschaft.

lebst in den Staaten und fährst nebenbei noch nen Coolen Wagen.

Fahre hier in Deutschland auch nen S-10 jedoch drüben stelle ich's mir schöner vor.

    Mfg Sascha

  • @evilrabidleamur digital dashes were an accessory from the factory.

  • @evilrabidleamur Thats because the TPI (vortec) engine didnt come out untill the 1992 model year. You are better off with the older style TBI Fuel injection because it was more durable than the early 90s spider injection (tpi) units...

  • @mustang633NY How did that answer his question?

  • He said he was "confused" because he asked why his truck with the digital dash and the 140 HP 4.3 w/ TBI ... the reason is because the TPI engine wasnt an option yet. The TPI (tuned port injected) 4.3 engine didnt come out untill 1992. Every blazer with a digi dash had a 200+ HP TPI engine except in 1991 (once again because the tpi engine wasnt out yet) note... the reason he was confused was because he had a digi dash and a TBI engine insted of TPI engine... i told him/her why

  • @mustang633NY My apology, I was skimming the comments and didnt fully pay attention. But to add to that, the early vortecs from 92-94 were poor motors in my opinion, I prefer the tbi but the later vortec 4.3's were really good. Not so much poor motors as the injection and computer system was. But I have come across a few early vortecs that ran well, perhaps it was just the ones I saw that were poor. I never owned those style 4.3's so I dont fully know.

  • @keith91z28 its all good.... you never know who you are talking to on here so i figured id just spell it out, although i think any one that doesnt know about chevy trucks would be lost w/ the TPI and TBI stuff :-)

  • @mustang633NY Yea its hard explaing to people the difference between TBI and TPI if they dont know whether it's for an 88 k1500 4x4 truck with a 350 TBI motor and a 91 Corvette with the L98 TPI motor. I have yet to own any gm care with less then 8 cylinders lol so I'm not too familiar with the major and subtle differences of the 4.3's and smaller v6's except for injection and roller drivetrains and what not.

  • Nice tires, what are they?

  • @CrunchieDan thanks there 33s
