I think the reason guitar artists tend to use a backtrack on youtube is because it's hard to get the full feel of the song with just one melody. This is especially the case with romancing saga as I personally find it to have like, 3 melodies going on at the same town. Really doesn't capture it's essence if it's done by itself though it's cool either way.

Fox is amazing yes, but there are far better guitar players. Really he's one of the best younger guitar players I've ever seen. But with his skill he could be more then some youtube idol persay. He could be the next buckethead, although he won't be as good as buckethead..
