FYI, they're not describing a transsexual perspective, either. Transsexual person identifies as the gender that is opposite to their sex (as opposed to 'cis'). There are other terms for people who identify as both or neither gender.
The concept of pansexuality deliberately rejects the idea that there are only two genders,as pansexual people are open to relationships with people who do not identify as strictly men or women.
Almost an infinite amount and genders even vary if someone or society identifies someone say as male. There are in between for even people identified as male. Examples: butch-male, femme-male, etc. The same can go for female. Even then people can identify as something in between for physical reasons (intersexed/hermaphrodite) or for psychological reasons (3rd gender/two-spirit). Like I said earlier there are countless genders some well know others only one person might know.

Also check out Todd Stephens who wrote edge of seventeen and directed gypsy 83. although i hate his works after those two, cause he got all pissed off that they didn't make any money off of gypsy, and still owed money for them, that he made two really commercial cheesy gay films, another gay movie, and another gay sequel, which were completely horrible and all the stereotypical homos loved.
i used to watch this movie all the time when I was eight years old with my best friend and her dad.Its such a wonderful film and I had almost completely forgot about it! As a little kid this movie fascinated me because it was so out of the realm of what the typical child watches.Although i did not understand a lot of it being allowed to watch these types of films at such a young age as made me a very open minded and also strange person.haha
@katiekoco naw, fooled me too. and i just got done watching "It might get Loud" ( if you know not of which i speak, google that title, all will be revealed) anyway, I believe that actor we see there, who, yes, looks a lot like Jack White, 's name is, Michael Pitt. i've seen him in a ton of stuff. usually plays a creepy type character. disturbed Rapist, or Murderer, or just "Icy" role.
This movie was quite good. Fucking weird, though, but I guess that's what made it so good. It's refusal to accept the norm in movies and carve its own path.
Hedwig will go down in history as the only note worthy original work of the early 2000's. It is a masterpiece power house offering of standout screenplay, music, lyric writing, and actor musician performance, costume, casting, choreography. Bravo John Cameron Mitchell ! You Fucking Rock!

Last year he was to come to this small hick city in Indiana because the library under pressure from the right removed his film. He was to give a lecture/ask questions after the screening of short bus....then a snowstorm hit..damn...the Christians must have been praying hard

The movie is very much a rock musical, and is very dense. The reason people are saying they've watched it a few times is because it really /requires/ a few watchings.
Beautiful songs, a few powerful messages if you want to look for them, but there's nothing cheaply served up to you cafeteria-style.
This film fills an empty place in your heart you never knew you had.
i love this movie. but i hate the way how kids my age dont appreciate it because hedwig is not considered the norm in the media view. some people are so immature sometimes i guess. People i think need to open their mind more and experience art instead of going to watch those shitty ass movies with no taste that only tell dick and fart jokes. Hedwig is one of my favorite movies of all time. but i guess im just one of the few who at a relatively younger age and generation can apreciate this movie.
I once watched this movie everyday for about 2 months straight.. >_> .. I think I was a little obsessed.. xD. it's an AWESOME movie. one of my top 3 favorites. :D

I don't like seing girls go around in minies and getting drunk and taken advadtage of.
I don't like people taken drugs or smoking simply because of peer pressure.

@katiekoco naw, fooled me too. and i just got done watching "It might get Loud" ( if you know not of which i speak, google that title, all will be revealed) anyway, I believe that actor we see there, who, yes, looks a lot like Jack White, 's name is, Michael Pitt. i've seen him in a ton of stuff. usually plays a creepy type character. disturbed Rapist, or Murderer, or just "Icy" role.

Last year he was to come to this small hick city in Indiana because the library under pressure from the right removed his film. He was to give a lecture/ask questions after the screening of short bus....then a snowstorm hit..damn...the Christians must have been praying hard

Hedwig. You know what? I wish she was real. Really I do! And I never felt this for a fiction character. If she was real she would be loved for so much people and and and.... I would be her friend *.*!!

The movie is very much a rock musical, and is very dense. The reason people are saying they've watched it a few times is because it really /requires/ a few watchings.
Beautiful songs, a few powerful messages if you want to look for them, but there's nothing cheaply served up to you cafeteria-style.
This film fills an empty place in your heart you never knew you had.

i love this movie. but i hate the way how kids my age dont appreciate it because hedwig is not considered the norm in the media view. some people are so immature sometimes i guess. People i think need to open their mind more and experience art instead of going to watch those shitty ass movies with no taste that only tell dick and fart jokes. Hedwig is one of my favorite movies of all time. but i guess im just one of the few who at a relatively younger age and generation can apreciate this movie.
