I can not believe that an actual DVM is promoting this crap! Shame on you! People of the general public please do not believe this!!! Do your research on this subject before you let this "kind and gentle" yahoos anywhere near your pets!! Because this clinic promotes this practice and thinks this is ok, I would not let them anywhere near my dog.

This is a horrible idea!! Even though "all surfaces of the teeth get cleaned", most of the problem with disease and decay is BELOW the gum line. If you do not clean under the gum line and take x-rays to show what exactly is going on, the tooth can still be very problematic (ie abscesses, root decay, periodontal disease...etc.) All this does is make the teeth look pretty, but does not fight against dental disease...which can also lead to other severe complications with major organs.
