when i was a kid i always wanted to get the dog food out of the tin in one shiny can-shaped lump so i could cut it in half like on the ad... never happened... always had to dig the bastard out. how the hell did they do it. did they cut the can away with an oxyacetylene torch or did they turn a lump of dog food on a potter's wheel and then spray it with a laquer to make it all shiny and then slide it back into the can or what
@DrGroothe The trick is to either slide a butter knife along the inside of the can, or else take a can opener to the bottom. Either the contents will slide out on their own owing to the breaking of the vacuum on the bottom, or else you can simply push the contents out with the bottom lid.

That Limara ad had a powerful effect on my teenage hormones. Still does in my 40s now I've seen it again.

My Mum taught me the secret...pierce a hole in the top first.....
