Hello Kevingd9 - this prayer is also found in a compilation by Horace Holley (Hand of the Faith) which is called "Baha'i Scriptures." According to the forward of the book, it contains prayers of Abdu'l-Baha and Baha'u'llah.
Martha Root, who was a journalist by profession, embarked for South America in July 1920. This was the start of her travels to every part of the globe -- of visits to kings and queens, presidents and
statesmen, to universities and colleges and the eminent figures of the academic world -- with the sole object of making known the name of Bahá'u'lláh...
Thank you for sharing this beautiful prayer recited by one of God's most precious handmaidens, Martha Root. I feel blessed for hearing this. Allah'u'Abha!
I cherish it - salt water wells up and throat lumps too. It's almost too hard to watch and listen to. You have artistically brought her back to life. Thank you so much.
It is a blessing to hear the voice of the first Baha'i ever to visit Finland (my home) and Estonia (my pioneer post), although it was recorded exactly on the opposite side of the globe.
