We in America missed out on a great group. Sparks, despite their originality and creative genius, could never find the same success here at home as they have overseas. Proof that once we get past the top 40 pap, we can enjoy some real musical treasures.
Great miming, just throw in a drummer, bass player and guitarist even though the drums are obviously drum machine, the bass is clearly synth bass and well there just isn't anything that remotely resembles a guitar used at any point in the track.
I saw this song (Cool Places) on tv and knew I HAD to have the album. I got to the record store and couldn't remember the name of the band. I looked through all the albums starting with A until I found it. Of course, I didn't really like the rest of the album, but at least I had this song. :-)
@ladyislingering How does somebody have to be on something to dance happily? He seems to be really into what he does. I think dance is the most uplifting feeling in the world, it doesn't necessarily mean that you have to be ON something? Then again, what do I know, I was just 3.:)
