  • Seen it as a kid,a bit closer, before the new rules I guess. The ground shakes.I live about 200 miles away now and can still see it with the naked eye in good conditions.Where are the old timers? 'Thas nuttin, you should see a Saturn V launch!'

  • ive seen that

  • Yes we were there ready and waiting on the Thursday launch scrapped just after control handed to Houston T Minus 7 minutes. many dissopointed people. SKC ripped us off for VIP seats near Aligator infested waters with only a thin rope between us and them!Would never go there again SKC a waste of money.

  • Hopefully gonna be at Kennedy to see Discovery Launch on 14th December. One of my life ambitions is to see a shuttle launch.

  • We tried to see this back on 8/27, tickets and all. Awesome to see what our experience would have been like. Next time...

  • Great stuff! It's good that the camerawoman couldn't zoom, in a way, as NASA can take care of the close-ups: It's great to see the ascent actually as a distant shot.

  • love this video. one day i'll be there to see it!!!!
