Mega Man Xtreme 2 had a totally different version of Blast Hornet's stage seen in X3. In Xtreme 2 there were various floating Sky Copters that you use as platforms.

I used that as inspiration for this stage, except in this case they are all flying which of course looks much cooler then stationary Skycopters.

So I just took the idea of the Gameboy stage and made it appear in 16-bit.
