I've seen my hamsters roll around in their panda house filled with chinchilla sand--it's adorable, isn't it? :)

I can assure you that there are no plastic bags present in the cage. It is a translucent cage, so you can see the things standing next to the cage.

I only use corn chips and tissue paper in the cages.

will the sand help with the smell ??

i bought my hamster sand.

and although he steps in it.

he doesnt seem he ever uses it.

(its apple green flavoured sand)

is it because of that or they hardly use the sand?

it'd be nice if someone tell me 'cause i still am kinda a noob at this.

also, are entirely sand bedding safe?

'cause i saw my friend using them and his robos seem to have gorgeous looknig fur.

@viveeann umm, robos are sensitive to smell to maybe he doesnt like it if its apple. and all sand bedding can be used but isnt very good as it isnt absorbant and is hard to clean and also can be bad for their feet if you use gritty sand :) just use a half bowl of chinchilla sand

Quite true, without a bowl of sand, they are cute little punks.. But then, they don't seem to respect their bathtub.. I've got mine poo-ing in it. Dang..
