Depends, if the jokes are forced on you, then I agree. But I honestly prefer jokes in drama-action before comedies. Comedies all to often are a bunch of forced and bad jokes.

@Beaviz81 True. Yeah I hate the really low brow comedies like Date Movie or whatever that constantly throws things at the viewers hoping for a laugh but that feels too forced and desperate. I recommend Mel Brooks, Abbott and Costello, and Laurel and Hardy because their jokes are well crafted and clever and just come out of left field that you'll laugh sooner or later. Comedy usually works best if you're not expecting it or its cleverly done. I do agree that comedy in action/drama movies are

@Beaviz81 (continued) really well done like comedy in movies like Jaws or Raiders of the Lost Ark, The King's Speech arenicely done as well. Comedy movies are usually pretty good. Its just that comedies are more geared toward raunchiness or cliches for some reason.

If you really want a movie that grates on you, then i would go for the Scary Movie genre. Funny for about five minutes. Then you can just shut off the tv, because you have seen it all before.
