This reminds me of the old Uber Rathian legends from MH1, where a group of hunters had an odd glitch where a Rathian spawned in a Diablos quest and had random moves from other monsters and was really buggy. Never found out if it was true or not, but apparently Capcom liked the idea.

@delico140 Its a new move, unlocked with SR100+ dual swords.

SR is a new type of levels unlocked at HR500+, which allows you to pick a new (& usually stronger) move, which replaces one of the old one. At sr100 you can unlock a second one.

the backflip gets the place of the unsheathing move.

i dont really like it, cos the only good thing about the backflip is that it lets u hit higher spots, but its slower, and less powerful, than the regular unsheathing move :p

@sasukexx I thought I was the only mad about all the price gouging capcom does with multipl versions of the same game and DLC Monster Hunter is one of the few Capcom games I genuinely like these days. I do like fighters don't get me wrong and own some of the capcom ones but to give you an idea on how much I trust capcom I didn't buy MvC2 til last year to make sure there wouldn't be another version. any others were gifts or credit i just wanted to use on something.

I have 2 issues with this thing. First off, it seems pretty darn easy to fight. secondly, why didnt it notice the hunters when they ran up to it?

@Willro91 For the first thing , it's certainly because these guys are veteran rath-family hunters. Second , that's actually a bug that happens from time to time. In case you didn't notice though , that thing chomped off one half of the player's health in one attack and the rest went red. Also , this thing has three rage phases augmenting it's power and those phases don't go down. And last , it's strong because it can SHOOP DA WHOOP!!!!
