I'm from germany (next to the netherlands) and our law against marijuana ist not that strict. You can have up to 10 gram in your pocket. If the police finds it, they confiscate it and you'll have to pay a retribution but they don't put you to jail.
In Berlin it's even more easy. You can have up to 15 gram without getting troubled by the police.

If legalized it could be packaged like filter less cigarettes and sold at retail for $10 per pack and then a $10 per pack “sin tax” placed on them. You and I would be paying $20 for 20 joints and as long as it was of comparable quality to what you would pay $120 an once for on the street no head would ever complain.

Here in Latvia, was an idea to legalize marijuana in one city, but in the end, the politition who suggested it, got fired :/ such a pitty :/ and why, i just don't understand
But here the rules are, if you have up to 5 grams in your pocket, it get's confiscated and you have to pay a 150Ls fee(280$), but if more then starts criminal court, in my opinion these laws are bullshit!

I'm from germany (next to the netherlands) and our law against marijuana ist not that strict. You can have up to 10 gram in your pocket. If the police finds it, they confiscate it and you'll have to pay a retribution but they don't put you to jail.
In Berlin it's even more easy. You can have up to 15 gram without getting troubled by the police.
But that's not enough. Legalize it!

@Lintflas Germany is far ahead of the US when it comes to drug policy. I got caught with just a pipe and the cop tricked me into letting him search my car and admitting I smoked. I didnt know my rights at the time. I was 15 and had to pay 400$ in court fees got drug tested for 9 months and had to do community service for 16 hours.
