Wow. That's amazing story. I can honestly admit that I don’t read the newspaper but this story motivate me to start reading them on a regular basis. It is important to keep abreast with the economy especially with the current economic volatility.

Great first investment. I'll even say luck caught you by surprise. Right place at the right time as they say! Searched for DLR on TSX, nonexistent (actually listed on TSX as DC). Initial thoughts: it was either de-listed (i.e. it failed) or it was acquired (big win). Discovered they were acquired by Symantec. Could have been a bigger payout but hey your investment grew ~20,000%. *Thumbs up* Great to see it was a Cdn company. Surprised yet amazed when I saw Mark Skapinker's name!

Just out of curiousity, what newspaper was that stock listed in and what is it that you recommend reading now? I read whatever I can get my hands on but it's usually local news.

I wish I played the market for Android when they first came out. Their growth and market share has increased substantially over the past couple of years.
