Buzz, there is a theme here, most everyone who knew David in some way, have the same things to say, "he was a sweet, sensitive, caring sort of guy" isn't that interesting. In light of what has been written.
Not only was he misunderstood, he was misrepresented, as you have said there needs to be balance.

There are conflicting reports on the alcohol during that whole stay. Some say he was incoherent at times,others say he did not appear to be over the limit. Who knows, Palm Beachers tend to overlook things alot. Especially at this time, especially Kennedy connected. I would know, I lived in the area for some time. Hung out in PB too. Awesome party place !!!
If we are to believe what you report, Caroline Kennedy, future attorney, destroyed evidence at the scene of a homicide. Sounds just like the scene at Marilyn Monroe's house when she died.
I report what senior detectives believed from the start. The guy o'd's and there's no drug materials in the room? A further search found coke and Demerol in the toilet bowl. The cops also believe he was dressed after being discovered, but I remain unconvinced about that. Please check out my book "Behind Blue Eyes" for a detailed analysis of David's final days.
