If you immerse yourself fully into the conversation, the language, and the culture you can catch on. i was an air force brat who lived in japan for a couple of my high school years (now a freshmen at LSU) and i went to a japanese school where on one hand most of them knew english but on the other like what she had said there was that wall because you dont know the native language

@HayleeAngalil If your school doesn't do exchange, there are many programs out there! Just talk to a school counselor about it! And you cant let your boyfriend hold you back from experiencing the time of your life! you WILL regret it in the future!!!
The money problemo is easy, just get all the money you can get! Find loose change on the streets, get a job, and ask your parents for help!!! You will LOVE japan! (at least, that's what my Aunt said!)
