i think sevendust is a highly underrated band . they have more talent than most bands period in the now day era period .their style of soft with heavy .most bands can't pull it off and they are also fuckin awesome live .

I disagree. Yes melody is very important, but a lot of music is driven by other things such as the rhythm. For a great example of a fantastic Sevendust song that's not driven by melody, check out Rumble Fish
Morgan Rose couldn't be a better drummer. The guy has more groove than he knows what to do with. I mean, holy shit listen to the sound coming out of those drums. Fantastic.
@TheyTookAnimal Ive known Morgan since 94-5ish. We all used to practice at the same club here in ATL (Wreck Room). Morgan has never tried to impress anyone with his ability to play. He plays what he feels. Puts his heart and soul in to it. That is what makes him stand out from the rest. The same goes for the rest of them.
i love 7dust, but tbh i think they brought clint back because in my opinion next/apha/hope and sorrow had a lot of scraping the barrel riffs and structuring, and the dust might have got aware of that and got clint back to get back that ''sound'' they once had. but GREAT performance of a great song
You have a fair point but i was getting used to Sonny and being a Dark New Day fan i was happy to see Clint with them, thats why i was listening to DND in the first place.
I never said that he wasn't good. Some of my favorite songs are his. But when he was gone Lajon stepped it up, a lot. And the music got better. With the band as mature as they are now and with clint back it should be magic!
Sonny is badass, dont get me wrong, but cmon, along with the other guys, Clint had alot to do with the unique sound that actually made Sevendust,..well,..Sevendust, in all their rightfully dignified kickyourassness Lol

You're kidding me. Clint made all the good lead parts of their songs. Sonny doesn't do that. I'm glad Clint is back. I hope they'll get back that old magic from the late 90's and early 00's.

"Next" was disappointing, but alpha was good mayo's effort there was good but I'm glad clint is back, they might release another "Animosity"
