No one really uses iTunes, or the app store. Everyone has their iPhones or iPod touches jailbroken. Oh, and the government doesn't protect our rights, they take them away, as long as we live in this society with corruption, the profit motive, and indignant human values. Government is only here to keep things the way they are, not change things for the best.
@xchainlinkx The government is *supposed* to protect our rights... though sometimes it seems it's the opposite. There should be some kind of oath or something that people do every day other than the pledge that says something like "I pledge to upholding the constitution and protect the rights of our citizens as human beings for the benefit of art, science and life itself."
@indignantatheist a pledge or an oath is just childish in reality. It's like saying "you swear to god?!" George Carlin explains it the best. What really needs to happen is a revolution of ideas. Finding means to remove the causes of the problems of our society, and making corruption, crime, poverty, etc. obsolete. For starters, get rid of the monetary system, and create an abundance of needed resources to provide for everyone on the planet. It can be done, hell we waste 30% of our food.
