To be honest, we're just like Aliens. Once our Planet becomes destroyed of Nature, we look for other Planets for more wealth and resources to over grown our own Planet. So really, once Mars atmosphere was depleted, these Martians are trying to deplete our resources for their own and surely take over us like taking candy from a baby. Which is a fact, that Earth is a baby and Mars seems to be very old.

The 2005 verson is an updated telling of Wells' novel Spielberg I think has said had 9/11 not happened he would've done a traditional remake of the 1953 verson forcusing on stopping the Aliens, instead because of 9/11 he wanted to focus on the idea of refugees fleeing the Aliens and the terrible things people will do when they panic

Guys, I have to admit... the editting wasn't actually that good. we only got to see one alien and then the other... The rest didn't really impress me. And as i said, the music wasn't very good, so I am going to have to go on the thumbs down side.

@brandons3 the music is from the stage show adaptation which gets a lot of critical acclaim. I've never seen it myself though.

This video editting was good, for example we got to see aliens from both movies and stuff like that, but i didn't like the music. It just made the video funny when it first started: "plans... against us... Dun dundun :D dundun dun :D"

The musical, the radio broadcast and both film are all great incarnations of the timeless story. We have H.G. Wells to thank for that.

it think they ruind the war of the worlds storyline in the 2005 movie they should make a new and better version based off the actual book and maybe the music
