@12345soccerguy There used to be. I think the one I was thinking of has been patched by now, so it might not be something you can do. Just try practicing without a timer at all.
@cyoubx ya i notice that on some solves, i flop on f2l, i can't find any edges/ corners, so i get like 40's or whatever, but now i get occasional 20's like 25, and just a few 40's, maybe 5 out of 30 that are 40 sec. is it just practice?
@cyoubx so you're sure that getting a faster cube, lubing it, not timing urself often (like 12 a month to see progress in averages), finger tricks (comfortable), f2l, full oll, full pll, practice, practice with slower cube, slow mental solves, looking ahead/ tracking pieces, reducing f2l moves, tracking filled in slots, limiting cube rotations, slowing down on f2l, practice f2l with R/ U moves (also L/U), precision turning, and solving cross in 8/9 moves or less, will get me faster, sub 30?
Thanks for evrything. You have no idea how much this has helped me and how greatly I appreciate it. I'll try to keep in touch so we can still work together, sincerely magicswimmer1- Justin
@magicswimmer1 Don't use a timer. Do walkthrough solves in your head and try to find optimal solutions. Even now, I still find better ways for certain cases when I'm not timing myself.
@cyoubx I'm just above 30 and I know 2 look OLL and full PLL. I look ahead a bit and I don't use many cube rotations. Should I learn to look ahead better?
@CubernotfromCuba I average around 13-14 seconds using 2lOLL and full PLL. So, yes, I think your F2L needs work. Regardless of what you average, there is always room for improvement for F2L.
@RubiksGuy234 SCtimer is an example. Although, I think they've changed their site a bit, so it's more of a hassle to use. If you can't find a bad timer, I wouldn't worry too much about it.
@magicswimmer1 It's pretty much your choice. But once you get down to around 25 seconds consistently, it'll be more beneficial to turn slowly and NOT pause...AT ALL.
But for now, do whatever is more comfortable for you.
@magicswimmer1 Which method do you use? If you use Beginner's/LBL, a lot of it is just luck. If you're using Fridrich, there's nothing better to do than to just practice. After a while, you should be able to become more consistent.
are there any inaccurate timers online?

magicswimmer1 2 months ago
@magicswimmer1 This is more for people trying to get sub-20's. For you, just keep practicing! :)

@cyoubx I use f2l. Is it better to take time to find the pairs and execute quickly or what?

Ok. Well I usually solve anywhere from 50 sec to 38 sec. Could you give me some tips from that stand point

what does he mean by a inaccurate timer and how to use it??
magicswimmer1 2 months ago
@magicswimmer1 Some timers are too slow. For instance, your solve might be 20 seconds, but it displays 14. Basically...faulty timers.

quick question did you lube yours? i just got mine and u are cutting corners better than mine will
kobioshi123 7 months ago
@kobioshi123 I usually lube all my cubes, but the one in the video is NOT lubed. If you're having issues, try using maru lube or lubix.

@kobioshi123 i loosened it and its fine now

cubing222 1 year ago
@cubing222 sc timer is slow on older computers that don't have enough RAM. You can always program your own too if you want a challenge :)
