  • bergher and alesi stopping to help, i cant imagine many of the drivers today doing this

  • the announcer sounds gay

  • back when drivers had balls. today they are all just a bunch of whining bitches.

  • who let this maniac in charge of the BRDC?

  • 0:10 Woah, feel the mighty 90's dramatic synth music!

  • 00:32 LOOK THE HELMET

    dude.........

  • warwick was a kamikaze ,second only De Cesaris

  • The combination of the eerie music at 0:57 and the sound of the commentators gay voice slightly frightens me.

  • Nice bloke, really talented and gritty driver, and deserved more luck in F1. -Daz in Oz.

  • It's the angle of Derek's head when it wedges into the gravel trap that gets to me every time I watch this. You almost resign yourself to the fact his neck must get snapped. Amazing escape

  • He is a MAN

  • You know, this is kinda similar to what happened to Richard Hammond in the Jet Car.

  • made me feel sick.............. so so lucky, all f1 and motersport drivers are true heros

  • It's amazing how exposed they are! Look closely at Warwick's head as the car rolls over and you'll see just how lucky he was, and just how big an accident that was.

  • Che mito Derek..avrebbe meritato piu' gloria...

  • Footwork never had a "sell by" date, just like the Vikings: always one piece away from being one piece away from being good.

  • could have broken his neck lucky man

  • Miracle!

  • @ronnycnc

    Idiot!

  • Badoer going slowly....no surprise there then

  • Did he say LUCA BADOER in this video? What a legend!

  • i miss those days. Derek was one of may fav driver. hes impressive in this video.

  • If you'd seen Monza 1990 live, you'd know that 1st lap crash was the one they were talking about. It was one thing getting out of the car after such a massive crash alive and uninjured, it was another sprinting down the pit lane to jump straight into the spare car in time for the restart - huge applause from the tifosi. Warwick was a fantastic driver but never seemed to have much luck in F1, always seemed to end up in a team just as it went past it's sell-by date.

  • this commentator sounds camp as christmas.

  • when they say: "I remember Monza..." are talking about his incident in 1990?

  • Luca raced that long ago? haha wow.

  • yep, 1993 was his first season, he was F3000 champ in 1992

  • @mazey90 check your facts, brother was F3000 champ and died in the process, Derek's first season was early 80's

  • @Jzzza I was talking about Badoer not warwick

  • No way I could race f1...these guys have large cahones.

  • @Jelsick I agree, but check uphill formula race.. like f300 hillclimb and so on :|

  • @Jelsick Today's cars are so safe you don't need large cajones to race.

    You just need an RB7.

  • @TestECull Yeah todays cars are safer but you still need balls to drive them, if you don't think that's the case you know nothing about motorsport and F1.

  • @Davetheravepow Do note the adjective "large" I applied to the noun "cajones". This implies that you don't need large balls. Note that nowhere, except perhaps your wacko dimension, does that mean "none at all".

Used to be a day you needed a brass pair to race. Now all you need ins a RB7 and just enough cajones to not pansy out at 150m and you'll have a world championship before you're old enough to buy the booze you celebrate with!

  • @Jelsick cojones I think

  • Yes, very.

  • impressive guy
