i got all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed 3 days ago and i didnt have any swelling until yesterday when i went to sleep face down . i do not have any pain ,and i didnt get the 'high' aftermath either . i was terrified when i got there but the medicine i had to take before i was attended made me tired and once i got to the seat i didnt even care . ive been eating ice cream , jello , soup , but i also ate chips and chocolate and a sandwich and it didnt hurt or anything .

@Min90Ra your teeth only shift if they grow in wrong in my case that's what happen so they had to be taken out. so if yours grow in normally you should have nothing to worry about

if you ask for them to iv u (put u to sleep) they will but they shoot ur mouth with regular numbing shit like they would for a filling or cap, they shoot ur mouth a bout 6times or so two bottom left two bottom right one top inside left one more top inside right and top outside of ur teeth left and right, i got my top wisdoms yanked awake and it was easy and less than minute i swear..but the bottom teeth hurt numb and all they knocked me out for the bottom since they bust jaw and teeth bone

@kissandtellist don't be scared!! yeah they put me to sleep and numbed my mouth hardcore. when i woke up they were all done and i couldn't feel anything. most of the pain i felt was at home after the numbing went away. i just popped in some of the pain meds they prescribed and i was fine.

@h2thaRHIZZo Mine didn't close till about 3 months. But those were my bottom 2 and the oral surgeon said the bottom 2 for me were really complicated extractions.
they started an IV on my arm and the drug infusing through that knocked me out. i don't remember anything after, except waking up and they were already done. for numbing your mouth, they usually inject some anesthesia in your gums, but they do that after you're knocked out. unless you're just getting normal teeth pulled. idk. it's different for everyone. not every oral surgeon is the same.
i was eating solid food in 3-4 days, but i had to eat it really slowly and towards the front of my mouth. i think it took me a week or more to eat normally. and no, i didn't get a dry socket.

i was eating solid food in 3-4 days, but i had to eat it really slowly and towards the front of my mouth. i think it took me a week or more to eat normally. and no, i didn't get a dry socket.

@honeybunn215 for me, since i got all 4 removed, the chipmunk cheeks went away in 4 days. but i was able to drive in 2 days. my sister only got 2 of her wisdom teeth removed and she only looked swollen the first day.

and yeah, they say that the pain doesn't really kick in till after the surgery.
