  • MMMM Thanky JESUS for my sweeet burger.

  • For those who still can't find the bible passages. John 3:16 is on the bottom of the cup on the inner rim.

The other one which is slipping my mind, is on the bottom flap of the outer burger wrapper. The one that usually says double-double etc.

  • ok if you go to in-n-out and see a bible verse and get offended dont eat there...wait whats that? the burgers are too good? well tough shit it's what the owner wanted you dont have to do bussness there. but i think your lives will be empty with out these burgers

  • In-N-Out can use this Bible passage as a slogan "Jesus saith unto them, Come and dine. ..."- John 21:12 (KJV).

  • So in-n-out is a fast food company in America? I thought this was going to be about condoms haha

  • YAAAA JESUS!!!!!!!!

Thats why the hamburgers are so good lol :)

  • I'll go where the quality is.

  • It could be worse. They could've called it Jesus Burger. Or Christian Patties Inc.

Btw, what is it with certain (usually right-wing) Christians making companies with the word "Christian" in the name? Like Christian Insurance or something. Ooh, your company is run by openly Christian folks. I'm REALLY gonna go there as opposed to somewhere else because "Christians are more trustworthy than everyone else."

  • @whoo689

I'm non-religious, but my god man, what better restaurant name than Jesus Burger? That's going to be the name of my new burger place, and it'll have a mascot of Jesus in a slick tuxedo holding a Gibson Les Paul on one hand and a good Jesus Homestyle Grilled burger in the other.

  • why do atheist celebrate christmas? Its retarded. Christmas celebrates the birth of Jesus Christ and if you dont believe in it, why celebrate it? X-Max is retarded. Just because i like presents doesnt mean that im going to go out and like celebrate Hanukkah

  • @Peoplejarn Atheists simply enjoy a public holiday. The gift giving tradition is more associated with Santa Claus than with Jesus though some may argue it was first started by the three wise men.

  • @Peoplejarn christmas is a pagan holiday which christians stole. you are the retarded one.

  • @Peoplejarn the intelligent atheists dont celebrate it, pathetic excuse for a reason to recieve gifts

  • @Trickstamp01 no athesist is intelligent......

  • @Peoplejarn haha oh yeah i forgot i love worshipping a book written to govern uneducated peasants from kingdoms of two thousand years ago, my bad man! no, actually atheists and agnostics are the only people worthy of even speaking on the matter because we use logic and proof, versus fairy tales and faith

  • And the Lord said, "Let there be burgers". And he saw that it was good. REALLY good.

  • I don't get it. The reference to John 3:16 has nothing to do with how tasty the hamburgers are. If I remember correctly, that passage reads: "God so loved the world that he drowned everyone, except 8 sailors." God has a bad reputation.

  • You can see God's blessing over In-N-Out by the number of customers it recieves everyday.

  • Jesus and God visited In-N-Out. That's why. That's how good the burgers are.

  • oh YOUR GOD lol, its a private company the old man can so whatever the fuck he wants

  • I think a Dr.Pepper in a love Jesus cup would taste the same if it was in a hail Satan cup. I am pissed about the "under god" being forced into our pledge of allegeiance in defiance of the 1st amn.

  • @ShaggyShagz13 80% if not higher of all people were involved and believed in a religion that had God as its center when the 1st amn was written. There wasn't another belief to be oppressed, this nation was founded on God. Move to the U.K. Oh wait, they still say "God save the queen." So you should move to Canada, oh wait they still say "God keep our land free and safe". Get it yet?

  • @ShaggyShagz13 Oh yeah, and its not forced into the pledge, you dont have to say it, its optional, prettymuch always has been.

  • Hey I love all and there are many people who've had direct experience including myself of being out of these bodies and this reality in which we perceive to be physical. I believe in GOD, I'm not an atheist but I know that we all are GOD and it isn't a he but it's US and everything that we see.. I know that much of the bible is based on fear and control and has been WRITTEN and edited BY MAN who added many good things and so many bad things with no proof. The proof in life is experience. Love u

  • I just wonder why it seems like being atheist is the cool thing to do now a days.. I don't know if its a rebellion teenager thing, because people have no idea on either side about anything, they dont know the science to back it up, or the religious evidence to back Christianity up. I'd think if you're going to moan about verses on cups that you would atleast know why you do it, not just because God couldnt exist because people die. My opinion.

  • @TheBeastWithinYou - Some "moan" aobut the verses on the In n Out cups simply because it's

obnoxious, and the Christian obnoxiousness seems to just get worse and worse, If they're happy in their

faith, that's great, but the pushiness of it onto people who don't care or who may even by offended

by it due to their own personal beliefs is simply in my mind unexceptable. They need to chill out.

  • @TheBeastWithinYou

Religious and scientific evidence. Provide it.

  • @UnoriginallyInclined Faith, takes faith. Science, takes faith. nothing is absolute. Provide a completely sound statement that proves no higher power exists, and that everything is completely random. We dont even know how many planets and solar systems there are, or how to purge the common cold from the world. But we know everything that happens is completely random. If i die and your right, there isnt anything, if you die and i'm right, then you suffer. Why does it even matter?

  • @TheBeastWithinYou

So your evidence is that because I can't prove that god doesn't exist, that means he does exist? Consider this, then: prove to me that Brahma is not actually the creator you worship. If he is, and you've spent your entire life eating meat, then your belief in a god won't help you when he punishes you for all the suffering you've caused to other living things. You can't say you weren't aware, since the Vedas were there for you to read. If you die and I'm right, you suffer.

  • @UnoriginallyInclined See now I'm confused, are you atheist or Hindu? If you're asking for religious evidence and you're hindu, all science points that the world will not last for over 300 trillion years. Hindu belief is that Brahma lives for around that, then there will be a gap of another 300 trillion years, before creation happens again, right? I'm not an expert in Hinduism, so tell me if i'm wrong. Which in and of itself would mean my God is not that god. I'll finish in a message.

  • @TheBeastWithinYou

I'm not Hindu, I'm an atheist. I'm sorry it sounded like I was. I was just pointing out a scenario where your "I'm insured against divine retribution" argument didn't work. My point was that if all religions agreed that all you needed to do was believe in god, there'd be no problem. But, like Hinduism, your religion compels you to live your life in a certain way and believe that others who don't do the same are going to hell. And if your religion is the wrong one...

  • @UnoriginallyInclined Out of all the religions out there Christianity any religion revolving around our God has the most seemingly solid foundation that co-insides with science Especially when comparing it to something like hinduism which seems to be glorified mythology, in addition to the whole 311 trillion year old earth thing the fact of the matter is, my faith is a faith that all i have to do is believe and it seems to be the one that makes the most sense to me, atheism isnt appealing to me

  • @TheBeastWithinYou

The Earth was created in 7 days? That contradicts everything we know about the formation of the planet and abiogenesis. The idea of a 311 trillion year old earth is no more contradictory to science than a man walking on water or producing thousands of loaves of bread and fish out of nothing. Atheism isn't appealing to me either, I only accept it because I can't believe anything else. Please don't say my atheism is some kind of willful ignorance if you can't show why.

  • @UnoriginallyInclined I never said your atheism was ignorant. I said many people have decided its a sort of fashionable thing to be. Mostly teens that just dont know either side well enough to call themselves one or the other. I've been at points where i dont believe in anything in my life, and places where i believe whole heartedly in God. So it irritates me that 13 year olds just decide to call themselves atheists, and heck, it bugs me when people call themselves Christian when they are not.

  • @TheBeastWithinYou

Well I can agree with that. Although don't be too hard on the 13 year olds, they're still trying to figure out who they are. I don't think anyone can really call themselves a Christian or an atheist if they're still too young to know what it means. I remember having one or two identity crises like that about 10 years ago. Hopefully wherever they end up is the right place for them.

  • what the heck? Is that bad, I've seen those and I like 'em. Whats wrong with putting Scriptures under cups, its not like hes putting it right on the sign!!!

  • This is ridiculous. Just ridiculous.

    fora: female orgasmicly ridiculous aunt.

    tv: television

    Wee A+?

  • Jesus selling cheeseburgers, who'd of thunk it.

  • I hope God lets us watch the reactions on all the non believers faces when the word ends!

  • @smokeythatokey Oh my God , I hope the word doesnt end soon.....!

  • @smokeythatokey Just look around as you die and you'll see the world end.

  • In yo Face!!! In God We Trust People!!!

  • Religious or not, any company willing to make a 100 patty burger is okay in my book.

  • I hope the verses offend. I don't want those offended by the bible at my In-N-Out.

  • Bravo for the owner.

  • I find all religion offensive

    Anarchy for all!!!

  • This is not to separate us, from one another we probably are eating on the same table and you don't know, one thing is true they got the best burgers around the globe, whit and whiteout the bible verses.

  • Deal with it people there is nothing wrong with a bible verse on the packaging!

  • strange that a lot of the folks who find the bible verse on the In-And-Out cups "offensive", seem to be the same ones that think the ground-zero Mosque isn't.

  • @TheJadeSlade shutup you conservative whiteboy

  • @TheJadeSlade

strange that a lot of folks who find the ground zero Mosque "offensive,"seem to be the same ones that don't find the bible verses on the In-And-Out cups offensive.

  • If there were no god, there would be no athiests.

  • why not the bible verses?

  • Too fucking cult.

  • Even as a firm Atheist, I don't mind the verses, doesn't take away from the In-N-Out quality, even if fully disagree with it.

  • I don't get it,. I am an Atheist, and not interested in anyone's god or their sky spirit. So I go to In-N-Out and get a burger, there's a bible verse on the bottom of the wrapper. So what? There's a company logo on the burger, and I'm not interested in promoting the burger joint per-se, but I don't feel any need to protest or object to it being there.

  • awesome the burger is blessed i wont get a heart attack

  • I will deal with it. I WON'T EAT THERE ANYMORE. I am sick and tired of Christian's pushing their idiotic beliefs on me.

  • Comment removed

  • @FRANCIS6189 If I live in a country that's government is trying to push its secular agenda on me everyday then you can eat at a business owned by a Christian that posts bible verses about an awesome God who died an excruciating death because He loves you more than you've ever been loved in your life.

  • @FRANCIS6189 found out they do that it today. Slow i was. Damn it. And i live in baldwin park, only half a mi/ from the historical first one. No wonder my P.e. teacher is always handing it out to students in his faggot student outreach crap. Don't like it anymore. Not just cause of the hidden messages, but because the portions are goin' down and the cost is going up.

  • @ac23AQ lol wow man the portions is still the then same .. cost is going up? come on now its less then other fast food #2 is like550 you cant get the at any other place ,,,, and its ok they dont need you

  • @FRANCIS6189 good cuz they dont really need you at all do you see how much they make they are always bzy

  • A member of the Snyder family, who founded in n out, and as we all know, each tragically died in several incidents their verses were put on the wrappers and cups as a tribute to them, and to spread on their beliefs

  • If I remember correctly, these verses were each a favorite of

  • Israel State of Mind

  • lol i bet jesus eats in-n-out in heaven

  • Why care about the bible verses when its just a bunch of words when you could be enjoying your burger?

  • JESUS SAVES... a few dollars off to the side each week so he can go down to In-N-Out for lunch on Tuesdays.

  • It's interesting how this secular broad breaks the people responding to the Bibical passage (which she--the supposed "authority" either won't quote or can't remember) into 2 groups:

    1) Those who get offended, and 2) "Those who don't care". Conspicuously missing is a third--and probably the largest group: "the silent majority" who thinks the inclusion "is a good thing".

  • Jesus Tapped Out! LMFAO!

  • I am not a Christian but don't really care about the tiny Bible passages on the bottom of the cup, but changing the commercial jingle on Christmas is idiotic.

  • honestly im an atheist and idgf about whats on the wrapper or cup i just want a burger in and out makes a dam good one double double with animal style fries fuckin delicious! i know why im an athiest im free to belive in science and people are free to belive in religion/god

  • @NGTYCOON Well said! Your candor is refreshing and comical. In-N-Out is where you get great food, not a sermon. The Bible references are PASSIVE yet it's amazing how many people seem to be offended by them, like FRANCIS6189. I've NEVER been preached to or been given a tract at In-N-Out. I wonder just how many who are offended by the Bible references have no problem with the idea of a mosque going up at Ground Zero?

  • Interesting how a simple fast food video can stir up a youtube fight. Look guys its just a referance. Its not a religous video so why are you discussing and calling the christians "Evil". If you dont like the bible references than just dont eat there.

  • I think it takes a lot of guts to do that commercial and I really think others should respect his courage to stand up for what he believes. Beside the Bible is a book filled with hope for those that read it!

  • if u blasted atheists dont like it....dont eat it!!!!!!!

  • @shinesthrudarain I'm atheist, but I honestly don't care about this. Way to be an ass hole.

  • you guys are making a huge deal out of nothing in-n-out puts the verses on because their a christian company deal with it!

  • I wonder if the people who freak out over in-n-out being "Christian" refuse to watch the Colbert Report since Colbert is a Sunday School teacher?

Oh well there going to McD's simply means the line at in-n-out will be shortened to just 20 people. 8)

  • @smc1412

"because THEIR a christian company" LOL!

    There

    Their

    or

    They're

And you got 38 thumbs up with your horrible grammar.

    Typical stupid, uneducated Americans.

Our public school system working hard for your children's future!

  • @codethis Really man? I made a grammar mistake, and you turned it into something about America’s public schools. I bet you have made more than one mistake in your life! Maybe before you open your mouth you should think about what you're saying! We're humans we make mistakes! Also stop hating on America yes, we have our problems but over all we are a great nation!

  • @smc1412

You can call it a "mistake", but it's more of a lack of education on your part.

And the public school system in this country is mostly to blame.

On the other hand, you may just be a complete moron and unable to comprehend proper grammar.

You used the word 'their', when you should have used the word 'they're', unbelievable that an adult could makes such a "mistake", as you call it, in 2011.

  • @codethis Dude chill out! I am a 16 year old, and honestly find something better to do than correct people on Youtube! In other words get a life!!!

  • @smc1412 I think calling out stupid Americans for their lack of grammar is a good thing, you spoiled little brat.

And now you cry and whine that you are only 16. Whaaaaa!!!!

Welcome to the real world, little girl.

You had better educate yourself, otherwise that Chinese boy you're blowing is going to sell you to his family in Beijing.

  • @smc1412 By the way little girl, 16 year olds in China are computer scientists ... while you are just a fry cook at Arby's.

See, Chinese people would never use age as a crutch ... as your wimpy mind did.

You are weak and need to improve yourself.

So I say to you ... "Chill out" and put down the WII controller once in awhile, you useless slug.

  • @codethis Wow that is all I can say. I obviously brought up something that you have already made up your mind on. Another thing I may be 17 but I still make a difference in this society I don’t just complain about its problems and bash other human beings. Codethis I am a volunteer firefighter and you know what man I am sorry that you obviously have a vendetta with me. I hope you get the satisfaction you were looking for by ripping on people on YouTube.

  • im looking at the wrapper right now ... Revalation 3:20. looking at the cup ... Proverbs 3:5 wow, i didnt even notice until now

  • its food from god thats why

  • Biologists, Chemists, Geologists, Physicists, and FARMERS would tend to disagree with that.

Please tell me your being facetious and you're not really that naive and inane. LOL

  • @richardclark420 haha!! u made my day

  • In n out is sooo good. You know why? God hooks the food up at In n out, the food is GODLY!!!!!! :D

  • lol got a cup there yesterday and had john 3:16 on it =)

  • Yeah. Good Verse: For God so loved the world that he ordered his "chosen" people to conquer, rape, mutilate, enslave, and slaughter others after first labeling us as sinful and wicked from birth so he could have sex with a virgin in remote Palestine and give birth to himself, create the concept of HELL for those who don't suck up to his wicked ass, and then die at the hands of the Romans as a pretend "scapegoat" to try to impress us all with how "loving" he is."

    This is whom you worship?

  • Whats wrong? it's his restaurant, you don't like it don't eat there.

  • We won't.

  • then why are you even on the video?

  • Fuck christians. always trying trying to disturb people.

  • Thats a very ignorant thing to say, you never met me.

  • Comment removed

  • Aww you're butt-hurt aren't you, Is that the best you can do? You're the dumbfuck who replied to my comment in the place. So you can go take both of your sorry ass comments back because they don't phase me.

  • @jeffcarbonel read your channel comment

  • Is he really trying too?

  • Are you serious? your making such a big deal out of nothing, just because it has a Bible verse on it you can't eat there? you must have no life.

  • This technique is called 'trojan horsing" because it is a sneaky trick and not very christianlike. WWJD? Not that. He would put it right on the cup. But that might cause the near 20% atheist population to boycott In and Out..... because they are offended and rightly so. What if it was Muslim ? Huh? perhaps you also would boycott. That is how we show our dissatisfaction here in America. Hence, they sneak it. Gooood Christians, no?

  • they dont need ur Business ther up 20% from last year

and the best fast food u can get

and u start a $11 hr and if u mang a store you get 100k-500k so ya

  • I don't know how you replied to my post, since it's not here anymore. I don't remember what I said, or how long ago it was.... but I still haven't bought a double dub since I posted my comment. And In-n-out is one block from here. I can smell it. Maybe I'll order it on plain paper on the tray, will that count? Without the wax bag and message? I think this tactic of Trojan Horsing this stuff in is a real underhanded slimy thing to do. What if it was Allah, would you dig it.? no

  • oh, so he did it because he was afraid, not because he really want the "word" out, way-to-go religion! you gotchurself another shmuck... lol..by the way those burgers are delicious.

  • No more in and out for me. FATBURGER for life

  • I'll have both with a side of McD's.

  • Calm down. It is just a burger. If a Jahovah's witness leaves literature on your door step does that mean you burn your house down?? I think this is 'throwing the baby out with the bathwater.'

  • I am prejudiced against ANY and ALL forms of RELIGION, superstition, spirituality, quackery, and any other form of non-science or nonsense.

I will NOT spend my money at CHIK-FIL-A which is a christian-owned hypocritical organization which closes on Sunday, but makes its MANAGERS work on that day.

If in-and-out burger still has religious management, I will NEVER eat there.

  • Buy why? It really doesn't matter if the management is religious or not. Why should it be bad because if it is? Let's compare this to something. What if two of your friends make cookies. You like one better than the other, but that cookie was made by a Christian. Why would you want not eat the really good cookie just because of his religion? And, what if another friend of yours, says he doesn't want to hang out with you anymore because you don't like that guys cookies.

  • Because I don't trust christians. They have no morals WHATSOEVER. They think they can mumble a few words and be forgiven ANY heinous crime. If there's poison in the cookie, it'll be the religious person who did it, usually in the name of god. And I won't give my hard earned dollars to people who believe in the Jewish Zombie Sky-Daddy who Fathered Himself. They're delusional, BY DEFINITION, and I don't want them having any kind of money, influence, or power. I want them to kill themselves.

  • Comment removed

  • And I'll explain WHY I want them to kill themselves. Because according to their beliefs, this time on earth is merely a "veil of tears", and heaven is oh-so-much-infinitely-better.

I don't want christians to deny themselves the pleasures of their eternal bliss by spending even one more minute polluting this earth with war and hatred from their WICKED and VISCIOUS texts.

I invite them to quickly go to their celestial North Korea where they can kiss the ass of their jesus for eternity.

  • you don't trust christians? you obviously don't have a clue, thats like saying i don't trust white people because the few i met didn't give me back the money I lent them yet there millions more around the world you never met and many you never will, please think before you say somthing because that was a very idiotic thing to say.

  • But why should that 3rd friend dislike you if just because of your belief of one person's cookie being the best? See what I mean?

  • Here's what lilmamacita562 posted then removed in response to my post:

"@hostingdude its just the creators beliefs and if you can't just accept that go kill your self"

So much for the loving christians. I invite christians to end their lives so they may go to the paradise in which THEY FIRMLY BELIEVE, right?

But I believe in NO AFTERLIFE, so inviting ME to commit suicide is something against my will and beliefs. I cherish THIS, my ONLY life and existence.

    I DENY THE HOLY SPIRIT.

  • And christians really FIRMLY BELIEVE in this afterlife paradise, yes?

Then answer me this: Why do so FEW (probably NONE EVER) christians actually take their own lives to get to heaven more quickly? Suicide is not biblically forbidden, despite what you may hear preached.

Why? Because they don't believe in the afterlife either.

Prove me wrong - find me a mentally and physically healthy, young adult christian, and let them take their life SPECIFICALLY to get to heaven sooner.

    I dare you.

  • @hostingdude Acually, suicide is murder, and murder is the six commandment.

Christians are put on the earth for a reason, to get more disciples for God (Matthew 28:19-20), and we can't do that if we are dead, right?

I'm a christian, and I believe whole-heartedly in Afterlife with my creator.

    So I decline your dare.

  • that is so cool:))

  • I'm not religious, and I could care less...

This is a free country. Get a life!

  • Comment removed

  • Just shut up and don't eat there then sheesh

  • If any other religion tried to do this in America, the christians would be all up in arms screaming!!! Boycott!

  • That"s Great! I hope he continues with the christmas eve

  • Yess!! Now we are going to have In n Out in Heaven.! i love In n Out, i wish we had it in Portland..

  • Christianity is incompatible with capitalism.

Christianity is based on altruism and mysticism.

Free Market capitalism is based on self interest and reason.

The entrepreneur who runs In-N-Out burger has a contradiction in his head.

I prefer to support organizations that do not promote mysticism, so I don't buy food from In-N-Out burger.

    Arbies is better!

  • Arbies makes me sick. Although i'm satan so..

    lol

  • freesk8..thank you! I'm constantly telling people this.

  • Thanks to Ayn Rand, of course! :)

  • My sentiments exactly :) lol I could tell you were speaking the language. cheers

  • Ayn Rand is a bitter old stupid cunt who gave gobble on my balls. She doesnt know what the fuck shes talking about. COld Hearted Old Hag who didnt know how to write. Looking back on my reading of the fountainhead, i cant believe i was so impressionable and believed in her dribble.

  • Hm. Lots of name-calling, but no specifics.

I dare you to come up with even one specific, reasoned objection to one of Rand's ideas.

Anyone can call her names, but it takes some intelligence to give logical criticism.

    Consider this a challenge, ad-hominem-boy.

  • arbies commercial promote sex =D lol

  • If what you say is true, then you wouldn't buy from a fast food place to "support" them. You'd buy from them on the self-interest that you want a damn burger.

  • It is not in my own long term rational self interest to buy from people who's values are too different from my own. I think that people who do as you suggest are not properly understanding what is really in their own long term rational self interest.

Now and then, it is in my interest to give to others. The odds are that many of them will give back to me.

Buying burgers from mystics may be in my short term RSI, but a wise man usually focuses on the long term.

  • I see. I should probably stop buying from those dirty Christians as well. For all we know, they could be funding their nuclear weapons research through burger franchises.

  • Well, since many of them tithe, especially the wealthier ones like In-N-Out burger owner, the odds are good that some of the money you spend there winds up funding a mega-church or tele-evangelist somewhere.

If you object to your money being used that way, then please join me in my peaceful boycott! :)

  • I still don't agree. I find it as rational as racism. Ayn Rand is too extreme with egoism, people already are egoistic. Letting someone's belief get in front of tasty burgers seems like an "un-egoistic" thing. Why should I care what he believes in? I want so cheesy goodness. I guess it depends on whether you want to attempt to stop those jingles, or a burger. Also, name calling is not an ad-hominem argument.

  • Racism is rational in a minority of instances, but irrational in the vast majority. A company that eschews black customers or better employees because they are black will be less profitable.

People tend to be short sighted and work against their own LTRSI.

My dollars can work to support my values or oppose them. Undermining my own values is against my long term rational self interest.

Please explain the difference between name-calling and ad hominem arguments. I do not know the difference.

  • Racism as in not buying from the neighborhood kid's lemonade stand because they're black.

People don't have the same LTSI as you nor the dedication, nor the need to have a dedication.

Your values must really outweigh a juicy burger.

Ad-Hominem: Your argument is irrational because you're fat.

Insult: You're fat and your argument is irrational.

  • Your example of racism would be against the RSI of the lemonade purchaser.

You are right. All of our LTRSI's are different, because our values and desires are different. My point was that it is not in MY LTRSI to buy from In-N-Out. It's also against the LTRSI of others who share my values. Are you such a person?

I hope your values are also more important than a burger! Love? Justice? Happiness?

Your arguments were ad hominem. You implied that Rand was wrong because she was stupid, etc.

  • But buying from the kid would be against the purchaser's LTSI. No, I am not, but I understand completely. I would still buy a tasty cake from the opposing team's bake sale.

As a Christian, I'd still support an Atheistic community, specially if they sell tasty burgers.

No, I did not. I don't know much about Ayn Rand. The poster who you claimed to do so just insulted her. The only thing close to it was the claim that she can't write which is an opinion and a straw man.

  • I do not understand why buying from the kid would be against LTRSI... If the lemonade is worth more to you than the price, and you choose not to buy because of your racism, then you are worse off, not better.

You are free to use your money as you see fit, but I'd like to suggest that some of your values may be in conflict, such as Christianity vs supporting an atheistic organization...

Sorry to confuse you with "thegreatestbak." You are right, of course.

  • It would be because the racist doesn't support any other race other than his own. The same can be said about your situation. Burger VS your values.

They don't conflict because I doubt that any organization is trying re-write the first amendment. That could be said about Christians as well, but I see it highly unlikely on either side. That said, I would not buy burgers from the Mormon Church.

  • i can tell ur really into the ayn rand thing.

You cahllenged me to give you one valid, objective criticism of Ayn Rand's Philosophy and I will.

    1. The idea of 'objective reality' is ridiculous as a philosophical precept. She claims that reality is reality...therefore it is reality. This throws away any metaphyisical considerations in thought, and as a general concept is extremely limiting in academic discourse and laughable as a means of transmitting ideas. What it results in is that perfect

  • art to her is classical greek art, displaying the virtues and prowess of man at his most excellent. Unfortunately this art is unrealistic in modern times and is synonymous with a Fascist state because it forces people to view themselves only in extremes instead of subtle shades. Ayn Rand's notions of Art and Philoosphy are childish and laughable.

    2. Laissez Faire Capitalism as a political Philosophy is outdated and unrealistic. It results in extremes of poverty and wealth..notwithstanding

  • the other unpleasant effects of capitalism (dead art, value as MONEY, etc)

    2. Ayn Rand was a bitter woman who was specifically bitter at the outcome of communism (defeat). Her ideas about money in Atlas Shrugged are silly because they point human beings in extreme shades. She had this idea that people have to be heros or nothing at all. Her extreme point of view neglected the effect of circumstances and mutual cooperation between people. Her stories are both callous and unrealistic.

  • 3. Her writing style is woefully amateur. She pretty much cant write for shit and her ideas are in a similar way mangled. I feel sorry for people who have read her books. I read them once in a time of hardship and it was all i had to latch onto. Now that I have gotten a college education I can see that the only people who can really say that Laissez Faire Capitalism is the best system are either a) Callous, ruthless finance and law majors or b) simply too ignorant to see the nuance in economics

  • ....take my money right?"

its unfrotunate that our culture does not encourage pople to think clearly about these concepts.

    COnclusion:

    Objectivism is a joke

  • Why flaunt the verses? That just let's more people know how dumb the Bible is.

  • The In-n-out burgers near me don't have the bible verses on their wrappers anymore.
