this was a great show, only got to see the ending of it cuz i was in the lot seeing blue devils drumline

but i did get to see their horn line opener in the lot (go check out my video of it), it was pretty sick

Last year's blue coats was really good. Possibly better then phantom. If Blue coats performed right after phantom, it would be really hard to decide.

If you read my last comment, I said I wasn't putting them down. I was stating a fact. Some people tend to forget that Drum Corps is competitive, maybe in your second year you'll learn that.

I wasn't putting them down, I think the bluecoats have drastically improved over the past couple years. My point was simply that Phantom is on top at the moment. I just take offense when I get hassled for pointing out a fact, I mean it's not like I've been marching for the past three years, what do I know...

I don't have to tell you that because it is irrelevant. If you have the ears for this kind of stuff listen to phantom in the lot then the coats, just because you're a fanboy doesn't make them the best. Hence why phantom has taken drums twice now in the past three years.

Ok, guys, Phantom had a great drumline last year. They had an incredible show. Bluecoats drumline were just as competitive. Let's face it Bluecoats in 2008 were considered to be the sickest line of the year by many drummers. So was phantom to a degree. Phantom deserved to win drums based on the all around show they put on. But to compare Bluecoats and Phantom lines head to head its just too hard to pick a winner. Some say Bluecoats others say Phantom. Both great lines.

it was their highest placement and score of the year. they had rough spots... but they had rough spots all year (everyone did!)
