It was not Brawn decision to let Bruno Senna to test HONDA F1 car. It was HONDA because HONDA want to honor late his uncle Ayrton Senna. Ayrton Senna won formula one championship for HONDA Engine. So HONDA was very proud of SENNA name.

Bruno Senna, born Sáo Paulo, October 15th, 1983. He's just turned 26. Hardly old is it, much younger than most F1 drivers of the past but a bit older than todays drivers.

When his Uncle Ayrton died Bruno's family stopped his own racing career as a boy, which is why he is a bit late entering F1 by todays standards.

Brawn GP are looking at Bruno Senna for 2010 F1 debut. It will be great to see the Senna name on track again but I don't envy Bruno's task, coming into F1 with that name you know! He's got a lot to live up to and the eyes of the world will be watching.

Bruno seems to have too big a network and money behind him to be pressured like Piquet was, also, the people behind F1 know what a big draw, therefore increased revenue, the Senna name would be and therefore wouldn't allow that to happen. Imagine the publicity if the Senna name was caught up in a scandel such as conspiring to crash a car to help somebody else win! The backlash could destroy F1.

but probably you know many differences to culture of senna and piquet... read the senna's biografy "hero revealed"... if Bruno learned with Ayrton, he will have a strong personality. (mainly determined).

i actually wouldn't be suprised if he takes Nelson Piquet Jr's place with renault rather then going to Brawn GP... i don't think Brawn GP would have the funding to really take him at the moment due to the lack of sponsership due to the being a new team and all

I agree, I think Barrichello is a bit old to be a contender for the championship, however with his experience, there are few drivers more capable to play the support role. If Button can qualify well, I think they might have a really good chance. At any rate I'll be cheering them on.

LOL, both Barrichello and Button were on time of the time sheets during the ending days of testing, Barrichello had the lead over the next best car by half a second for over 2 days of testing. From the basis of the testing results, there is no team, Ferrari included, that is looking as strong as the Brawn GP team.

Looks like Honda is going to be bought. Brawn and Fry seem pretty confident of that (2009 car development is still being carried out). Also with the volume of Brazilian companies willing to sponser Senna is huge, so money might be a problem for whoever buys that team, providing Senna gets a drive, which he should.

Well......not yet. We shall await the out come of the Honda team being bought. I think with Ross Brawn and his connections with Ferrari and the rescent Ferrari young driver programme we could see a Ferrari Junior team. Just a thought, stranger things have happend.

He has proved he is a very good driver as he has proved in GP2. And considering he only started racing when he was 21 he is undoubtably a talent, but saying that i feel there a lot of other drivers in other formulas that are deserving of a F1 seat. But i just want to see the Senna name back, as im sure millions of others do to. Ayrton was legend. Hearing the news this morning though that HONDA have pulled out of F1 i wonder where this leaves him and of coarse everyone involved in the team.
