  • @WenchesOfRedemption

No your just unable to comprehend that the Gun itself incites violence, and escalates situations, for instance if I'm in a fight its not particulary easy to kill someone with my bare hands, but with a gun its as easy as pointing and pulling a trigger.

You also think we can trust every member in society with the power to so easily take a life, you obviously don't understand what your talking about.

  • @WenchesOfRedemption And how much worse would it be to live in the UK if all the uneducated scum that was causing the violence could just scurry off to town with the handouts we've given them to buy a gun and then invade your house?

Guns server no purpose except to escalate a situation, because if your having a home invasion they are probably going to bring ther own guns if they can

  • @gotsda

Clearly you don't really seem to know what you're talking about. You are proving my main point with your last comment.

  • Idot. Buy walmart bullets they neaver shoot anyone. Come and take my bullets.

  • bet those boys got loooooads of blowjobs

  • America´s a joke !

  • @2129261184 And a bad one at that =/

  • @EbagRAYYYYPES You bet, and its a shame really :(

  • @EbagRAYYYYPES You bet, and its a shame really :(

  • Seriously I cant believe that you can buy bullets in supermarkets ..,,, wow

  • I live in American and I never realized I could get ammo so easily.

  • You should see the gun laws in Japan. If you own a gun a person will come to your house to check and inspect your gun annually.

  • 4:41 - 4:43 "K-mart dosen't care about this" fucking cunt

  • @carlosHjrzz she actually said "does care"...but you could tell that the woman herself didn't really care. I wanted to slap her :/

  • I just don't see how selling guns and ammo in supermarkets is responsible. If people don't own guns then they can't shoot people.

  • See, he's blaming the entire fucking company for what 2 kids did. Them buying all the bullets did nothing. They probably just replaced them the next day...

  • all non americans watching this, please dont think that all americans are like this. yes a lot of us are shit heads, but i dont agree with many things in america

  • at the start i mean

  • what song is playing in the background

  • @CrAiGyBoY713 "It's A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood" From the PBS TV show Mr.Rogers Neighborhood.

  • @CrAiGyBoY713 americana by the offspring

  • this shows what kind ofperson moore is -- you just don´t play such phoney games with old people, no matter how much you despise their views!

  • IMO, as long as certain people believe the myth that "guns don't kill; people kill", which is like saying, "cigarettes don't cause cancer, smoking causes cancer", the problem with gun violence will continue. People kill with guns. Without guns, tragedies like Columbine would not have happened. How can you have a drive-by shooting without a gun? Guns are part of the problem and to suggest otherwise is both stupid and unrealistic.

  • imagine if it were from walmart, theyd tell u to go screw. and u cant blame the people that supply the stores with the bullets. u demand it, its supplied.

  • She's really reading off a piece of paper though..... -______-

  • wow, K-mart actually found those 3 a big enough threat for them to stop selling ammunition? Individuals do have power.

  • @Mytholgylove I don't think it was these three people who frightened K-Mart; it was the press (or potential bad press) that scared them into action.

  • @Mytholgylove thats because the 2nd time they went to the headquarters they brought the media with them, so they had no choice but to stop in order to keep customers buying non firearm related merchandise

  • It is kmarts fault for not restricting how many bullets a 17 and 18 year old can buy

  • @jendub225 because at that time they made the ammo more accessible and easy to get. buying bullets at gun shops normally requires id, gun permit and they restrict the quantity of bullets you can buy, something that kmart didnt do, was evident when moore simple go and bough all the bullets

  • How is this K-Mart's Fucking Fault???

  • Moore is annoying as hell. But damn. He is effective.

  • @ThaddeusTheThird U have to be annoying in order for people to stop ignoring you.

  • Lol at the pros and anti's here, fact of the matter being, it's in our constitution to protect us from the bullshit that other country's have pulled on their people.

It's more than just a weapon, and more people die in car accidents every year than by a gun.

Keep arguing, outlaw firearms and only the criminals will have them.

  • I don't know how laws in the US regarding weapon possession are so lax... how anyone deserves to own the rights to something that could actually take someone else's life is shocking.

  • i am simply amazed how easy it is for just about anyone in USA to get access to a weapon which for heaven's sake will make an elephant run faster than a cheetah. where i come from, i haven't come across anyone in my entire life time to be owning a weapon and just a few maybe having the license to posses one. i totally second you darealtripleog.

  • K mart should sell what ever they want. The nine millimeter bullets in that kids back are not there because of Kmart. And if anyone wants to check there history, the second amendment is there for a reason. The fashions may have changed the education system has. But the relevance for that right is still there today. Here's fact for you, during the revolution the ppl were equipped with superior arms then the best military force of the day. Happy forth of july idiots

  • i work at kmart..... in australia LOL

  • It's tough to say he's not a bastard for these tactics, but what works is this kind of p.r. stunt. It's machiavellian, sure, but embarrassing people into responsibility through manipulative media circus is practically the only way you change a private business policies.

  • @alteregoash Machiavellian tactics is what drives both main stream opinion-making and investigative journalism. In order to get the public to do something, one has to push a few buttons to do so.

  • did K-mart actually removed the sale of fire arms and amo in the end?

  • I find it interesting that while Mr. Moore criticizes the media and blames them for spreading fear, he sure didn't hesitate to use them for his own purposes.....hence his being a hypocrite.

  • Kmart is not responsible for selling ammo that injured and killed at columbine. If they didn't get the ammo there they would have gone to the nearest gun store and purchased them there.

Chris Rock did a comedy routine where he suggested bullet control...charge 5k for 1 bullet. Guarenteed people wouldn't go around shooting Joe Schmoe.

  • I hate it when people READ apologies.

  • @stupidlag your stupid!!!

  • @islamiscrap8888 Why shouldn't the US have stricter gun laws?

  • @RedandWhiteGuerilla because it's unconstitutional.

  • @islamiscrap8888 All that the amendment says is the "right to bear arms." It is vague to the point of irrelevance. The 2nd Amendment was created in order to create an immediate alternative for a standing army in the days when a standing army was unachievable. The founding fathers didn't have the intention of allowing US citizens to own unspecified amounts of assault rifles in their homes. The mere fact that an organized defence system exists makes the 2nd Amendment irrelevant.

  • @RedandWhiteGuerilla the constitution was not written yesterday it was written almost 300 years ago. have you ever tried to understand a conversation written 300 years ago. a lot of it wouldn't make sense because the definitions have changed. what we need to do is take a look at what the definitions of the times are talking about. like what you're suppose to do. LOL!

  • @islamiscrap8888 I understand that, but then wouldn't it make more sense to make referendums of the 2nd Amendment in order to make it applicable in modern times? Most nations do referendums to their constitutions all the time in order to ensure the documents validity in a changing nation.

  • @RedandWhiteGuerilla No, because it would void the point of have a written constitution to begin with. and other nations are other nations, we don't need to change what we should be doing simply because other nations are starting changing.

  • Wow...my respect for KMart just went up a millionfold after watching this clip.

  • I find it a bit unfaif that that are sort of blaming K mart because they can't tell weather they are selling bullets to people who are gonna' shoot up a school or to people who wanna hunt some dear. So I think its wrong of then to go and complain because if they hadn't bought then from K mart they would have just bought then from some place else.

  • @pollybeee Now time for a grammar lesson :)

Weather is the temperature outside so I think you meant whether. Dear is what you use to start off a letter to someone so I think you meant deer. You're welcome!

  • @whiteblackshoes Aha! Touche'! but in my defence it was 2:am so :P But thanks.

  • All i need is a star map!

  • i cant understand how you Americans think that its within your rights to own a semi/fully automatic assault rifle. what are you trying to hunt?. do use wake up in the morning and spot a t rex in your yard or something?. i didn't think so they are military weapons. I'm from Australia, and here our gun control laws are that strict im having a hard time obtaining a licence to own a single round shotgun. it makes me very angry

  • The second amendment of our Constitution. Secondly we're not allowed to own fully automatic weapons. No one in there right mind would want to hunt a T-Rex with an assault weapon, the intermediate calibers would be inefficient to get the job done. The second amendment right is not there just for hunting, it is for our own defense. Against private illegal entities or to overthrow tyrannical government. If I were in your country I'd be mad as well, and I pity you, if you follow the law, you should

  • @Depravedmaniac666 are you seriously justifying your right to own fully automatic weapons so that if you should ever need to shoot a t-rex you would be able to? And im sick of this second amendmnt shit.. it doesnt state that you can own a fully automatic weapon....you americans honestly dont know how stupid you sound. everyone thinks your a joke.

  • @iamthewalrus90 The second amendment also doesn’t state what should be limited.

  • @iamthewalrus90 After reading your response to me, I think I lost at least half an IQ point, and you probably made everyone on this forum slightly dumber. You've made so many assumptions, and so false generalizations on things I never typed in my post, I literally shat my underwear laughing. Are you drunk, or just plain fucking retarded? Your parents should be charged with child abuse for never sending your dumbass to school.

  • @darealtripleog be allowed to own that shotgun.

  • @darealtripleog sounds much like jealousy. If you knew the background of the bill of Rights, you would realize that hunting, although a pleasant offshoot of the Constitution, is not mentioned. This right is a security measure.

This idiot is trying to blame K-Mart for this terrible event. And crazy Moore was successful in stopping this store from selling ammunition. So we all just bought them elsewhere. And they are NOT K-Mart "bullets" they are Winchester, Remington, and Federal!

  • @Varianna12 protection from what ? if there are no guns available then there is nobody who is gonna try and shoot you

  • @darealtripleog You are angry at your government, or at the US? It was unclear from your statement. Now, are you aware that your government confiscated all the legally owned repeating guns from their owners, then crushed them with a bulldozer.

Made headlines around the world, and the photo is available, if you don't believe me.

  • @darealtripleog since gun control in australia was implemented there crime rate skyrocketed assult is up 8.1 percent, rape 25 percent, breaking and entering 44 percent the list goes on and on it doesn't work. However people should lock there guns up and keep them out of reach of there children.

  • @darealtripleog

It's simple why we think its in our rights to hold a semi/fully automatic assault rifle. WE DO!

It's our second constitutional right. Don't like it stay in your beautiful perfect country where you cant get a single round shotgun.

In my house we have 3 shotguns 2 rifles and 2 handguns. None have been used in a crime and all are legal,

Idiots who use guns for the wrong reason should not be the downfall of responsible American gun owners.

  • @thebloodsoaked87 and why do you own it? aliens?? crooks? russians? have you at least been robbed or beaten once? a hunting rifle is fully understandable but assult rifles?? i hope you dont go postal.

  • @thebloodsoaked87 ok its your right, but apart from for fun is their actualy any use for your guns

  • @thebloodsoaked87

you are RIDICULOUS.... you americans are fully armed , even though you've never had real WAR at home in the last century, unlike we europeans with 2 world wars!

damn it, i'm italian and i should have tanks in my garage to defend myself from the french! HAHAHAHA

  • @darealtripleog Hahaah your funny. A T-rex lol

  • @darealtripleog angry wtf? Sounds not save, I have never seen a police with gun in my hole life. And the US is a sick country

  • @darealtripleog yea thats cos youve got nutters like chopper read shooting nething that moves. btw im a pom not a yank.

  • @darealtripleog

In America, you can't own a fully automatic weapon without a particular license

    .

  • @darealtripleog Not T-Rexs but i found some velociraptors eating my pets in the backyard. JK i really don't like living here. The overbearing sense of paranoia and everyone's belief that they know about everything that happens because they saw it on television is sickening. Not to mention our government is went to shit years ago. That's why i plan on moving pretty far north.

  • @darealtripleog because we can

  • @darealtripleog the gun control laws became what they are today after the port arthur massacre. This was a national tragedy, like columbine, and it made the government sit up and take notice that there was a problem that needed solving and they solved it, easy as that.

  • @darealtripleog mind you, gun control is only part of the problem, the other part being the culture of fear and paranoia, but it's still a bloody important of the problem. If you cut out the easy attainment of firearms, you'll obviously go a long way to decreasing the amount of gun-related deaths

  • @darealtripleog I think most Americans that own fully automatic weapons just think it's fun to shoot and play with them. Kind of stupid. But what do you expect from Americans? Hahaha.

  • @darealtripleog my friend, idiots who buy those weapons and lose it over fear make me ashamed to be american. preach it.

  • @darealtripleog you're right, but you used the word "use" instead of "you"

    WTF were you thinking?

  • @darealtripleog

Owning an assault rifle for home defense is exaggerated? I think not. Remember that the 2nd Amendment has nothing to do with hunting.
The 2nd Amendment of the US Constitution has nothing to do with hunting and everything to do with personal protection up to and including preventing government tyranny. Its about civilians owning every terrible device that is provided to individual soldiers. I want NO LESS protection than is allocated to my ELECTED OFFICIALS.

  • @darealtripleog People like you make me angry. You are so short sighted that when it comes to history and facts, you would trade your safety and freedom for a "feel-good" gun law. And as a result of your stricter gun laws, law abiding citizens have been deprived not only of their rights, but their means of defense from the scum of the earth. Crime rates have sky-rocketed.

  • @WenchesOfRedemption Of course assault rifles for home defense are exagerated, people only invade property with Guns for one reason, because to commit a crime you have to escape, and if there is a chance they have a gun you need one.

In Great Britain the police for doesn't carry guns on patrol, because that makes them a target. In 2010 only one police officer was shot in the whole of the UK.

The fact is people don't need guns.

  • @gotsda The fact of the matter is that being prepared for a home invasion is the best way to go. There is nothing wrong with having an AR-15 or any gun for home defense. Remember, when seconds count, the police are minutes away.

The UK is in fact far more dangerous to live in opposed to the US. Take a look at these articles:

    cepr . org/meets/wkcn/9/979/papers/Buonnano_etal . pdf

    telegraph. co.uk /news/uknews/law-and-order /5712573/ UK-is-violent-crime-capital-of-Europe .html

  • A lot of people are complaining that making K-mart stop selling bullets is stupid, but what they fail to understand is that it's a stunt.

The whole point is to make people see that Selling Ammunition in stores is negligent in general. In my country they don't sell it cause we don't need it, so why is it so needed in America?

They chose K-mart because that's the store they could target cause of that connection.

  • @HayabusaTaichou so the rich can lagh at the storys of americans trying to rebel with weapons, or laugh at the storys of americans being violent because the rich are using there money to pay poor people to make fudge and serve drinks.

  • We should be able to take away people's brains because they misuse them! This is the stupidest bunch of crap ever. Objects don't direct one's actions! Jeez....

  • they took the press if its just them K-Mart wont give a fuck about them!!!

  • Going after K-Mart and getting them to stop selling handgun ammunition, great idea and wonderful results. I think it's a good idea to keep most gun ammunition regulated to licensed gun stores. Going after an organization's president in his own home, and berating him about his beliefs and his organizations' beliefs. Fucking cowardice. Moore, you had my respect in making Farenheit 9/11, but you lost every shred when you verbally attck a great man like Heston in his own home. You should be ashamed!

  • whoever uploaded this left out the timothy mcveigh and wako incident..... hmm

  • The comments on this video just shows the ignorance in america! No wonder this place is so fucked up!

  • Well, that was inappropriate; Kmart can't be blamed for how people misuse the products that they legally sale. If you don't think said products should be legal, go to Washington, not Kmart.....my interest in this film just fell to about zero. Shame too.

  • if k-mart is responable for the ammo, let's make wal-mart stop selling spoons because they make Michael Moore fat.

  • @savage495 OMG THAT IS SO FUNNY LOLROFLMFAO

  • @savage495 chicken fingers, hamburgers, hot dogs, and fries are all eaten with fingers. not spoons.

  • @savage495 Michael Moore being fat doesn't kill 12 high school students, one teacher, paralyse Richard Castaldo, leave Mark Taylor inches (literally) from death or disability, and seriously injure many more.

Think before you say something stupid.

  • @SinuousSnake You’re point is irrelevant, the fact that they blame the inanimate firearm (the spoon) for the murders (Moore’s fat ass), is quite naïve. I guess you did not understand my comparison, so don’t type before you comprehend my comment.

  • @SinuousSnake Seriously????????? I think you should be the one to think before you type!!! Michael Moore is a complete moron!!! To try to blame the unfortunate deaths at Columbine on the retailer for selling the ammunition is absolutely ridiculous!!! An individual that intends on committing murder is not going to say "oh no, Kmart doesn't sell my bullets, oh well that is the end of my premeditated murder plans" !!! Instead they will just buy them at another store!

  • @savage495 good point

  • @savage495 You think he uses a spoon? Try shovel.

  • @savage4 when i buy a spoon at wal-mart, i choose what to eat with it. These kids were not given a choice when they were shot with bullets provided by k-mart.

  • @TucciTime The spoon is not responsible for what you eat; my point is the inanimate object cannot be blamed for what it is used for (Moore’s fat ass, the killings). Also, do you really think that if k-mart was not selling ammo the shooting would not have occurred?

  • Well at least some one listened to Michael that was good of K-mart pity other people who can't do the same.

  • 3:00 why didnt she shake the wheelchair dudes hand?!

  • Why is it K-mart's fault for selling ammunition? If they sold a steak knife that was used to stab somebody, should they discontinue their sharp cutlery? I fail to see the logic here. It was extremely tragic what happened at Columbine, but K-mart is not morally liable for the misuse of the products that they sell. People complain about frivolous lawsuits in the U.S and yet want asinine laws passed in their favor.

  • @mr00jimbo No, it was not K-Mart's fault for selling ammunition, but if corporate America, which K-Mart is a big part of, didn't sell ammunition so easily and so cheaply, there is a chance some innocent people would still be alive.

Some things are more important than profit.

  • @mr00jimbo shut the hell up. a steak knife can be used to cut steak, it has a purpose other than stabbing. hunting ammunition is slightly justifiable, as it is used for hunting. But handgun ammunition? You may say, oh, its for a firing range... but firing ranges are meant to improve your aim. Your aim to hit what? Humans.

Go jerk to some limbaugh or beck, kthx

  • @drakeishfyre According to FBI data the gun restrictions in the 90's seemed to help a little. The data also shows that we still have a bad problem with firearm related homicides. But I don't think guns are the main source of the problem. I lived in Switzerland for two years with some relatives and they probably have more guns than us, almost everyone I met had one. Their crime rate is real low. America is just a crap-hole because of Corporate greed. We need more unions and the like.

  • @tstruss912 America is a mistake... A giant mistake

  • @drakeishfyre It's not a mistake at all. It's running just as the founders intended it too. As James Madison put it: "Landholders ought to have a share in the government, to support these invaluable interests, and to balance and check the other. They ought to be so constituted as to protect the minority of the opulent against the majority". This country was founded to be a sort of compromise between a plutocracy and a democracy. So it's not a mistake, all is going according to plan.

  • @tstruss912 If there was no government, we'd have more freedoms than by having one

  • @drakeishfyre Idiot !!!!!!!!!!!

  • @drakeishfyre Yeah, humans who try to break in you home or rob you. Or an overpowering government run by corrupt humans who think they can control your life. Guns are important for freedom and the most important right granted to us. Guns allow us to take back our freedom if it is taken from us. I believe something similiar happen in this country already, I think it happen in th 1770s, I don't know, you tell me.

  • @777danzig oh god, a republican.

  • @drakeishfyre Just because I disagree with Moore or I support a certain something doesn't make me a republican. I don't vote republican, I am a true independent, I am actually smart enough to look at the full side of the story instead of listening to few individuals' skewed side of it. Just like with guns, I realize the benefits of them which greatly out way the cons. Just because someone disagrees with you doesn't mean they are a republican, quite possibly they are just more informed.

  • @777danzig I mostly said that because of how strong your point is. I support gun rights, but I don't go on the offensive about it. As a centerist libertarian I'm as unbiased as it gets. I just tend to like dems more because of how non-abrasive they are.

  • @777danzig Ty for posting an intelligent comment! There isn't enough of those on this page...lol

  • @drakeishfyre Wow........another obvious Idiot that comments and should think before they do!!! Do you not realize they will just buy their ammunition elsewhere? Please, this isn't going to accomplish anything! So U Shut the Hell UP!!

  • even the news story at 6:24 also sparked another fear to the public about dangerous snakes. the media continuously spark fear to the public so much its ridiculous, and that's some of the reason behind this documentary. Its really sad

  • @vanillaskynet

Like maraliyn manson said, the more people are afraid the more people would consume.

  • And it only took the threat of a bad name for Kmart in the media for some goddam action to be taken.

  • @SpiralOutLateralus *lols at america* (i am quarter canadian, but actually british) it's nice to see a non-patriotic american. i'm a non-patriotic brit :)

  • wow, i've never seen canada that sugarcoated before. canadians arent that nice in real life, i know i live with them.

  • Their building doesn't have ramps so that people in wheelchairs can get in a nd out safely? That would be dangerous for anyone trying to get in or out of a building without ramps and stuff.

  • just curious whats the protocol for a handicapped person getting on a plane

  • the people who give up eternal liberty for temperary safty deserve niether liberty nor safty -Unknown-

  • how fucked up is that....bullits for sale in a supermarket..mental totally mental..only in the united states of fat..mental

  • freedom full of fear...sounds awesome -.-

  • That's because when I was proposed to move to USA to work, I declined in less than 1 minute lol

  • "17 cent K-Mart Bullets" - Take that, freedom! XD

  • "cash and carry government"

    That's a good one.

  • So K mart sells ammo, knowing people can get disabled, but still has no ramp for the wheelchairs WTF!

Just shows how the majority look down there nose at the disabled.

  • Wow i just realized that the guy in the white shirt in the background is wearing a Juggalo Jersey. Good job. I am also a Juggalo. this movie was good and 5/5

  • err .... guy in the wheelchair

  • lol... awkward

  • the kmart lady wouldnt shake hands with the girl in the wheelchair and showed quite rude body language.

  • @stuzaza thats a guy and the other guy offered his hand but yes she was very snotty

  • @stuzaza Well, the boy. But, yea. She's a bitch.

  • @stuzaza it was a guy not a girl

  • @mattmanmkb i did correct myself very soon after i made that honest mistake

  • @jboritzki If you don't like it, don't watch it. So it's okay for people to kill others for money, or break into their homes for money? At least we're safe from other countries though! Because we've done such a good job so far.

  • @raiders4lifeblake

Who said it was ok to kill others for money? No, we're not that safe from other countries here lately.

  • That's what happens when nobody has a job or a house. They're not just gonna sit around with their thumbs up their ass.

  • @raiders4lifeblake

Criminals are not usually criminals just because they're poor.

  • I do not own a gun. I probably never will. But to ban them in the USA is not a good idea.

  • you need a gun license in the united states to you imbecile.

  • GUNS = LESS CRIME; switzerland

  • why is it that whenever you go looking for answers at a large corperation the heads are never there

  • I feel so bad for that lady. They just used her as a scapegoat.

  • There could be a million different reasons for why Columbine. However i have two opinions on what could be done to fix up america's ridiculous gun violence. One: licensing has to be an absolute MUST. Two: get some fucking control in those redneck shitholes and ghettos where all this usually goes on.

Unfortunately, though, I have no answer to the comparisons with international countries. I love my country and will stand up for it always, but this is an issue i simply don't have an answer for.

  • Quikbill that's because they don't sell them anymore this is a film from years ago. Not yesterday.

  • Eric and Dylan fucking bullied then after that they went to bullying. They fucking killed people who bullied by them and people who they were fucking bullying. They shouldnt of shot themselves they needed to burn themselves to death.

  • by saying that you're no better than them

  • that's every high school in the u.s.

  • After seeing all of this, I am so glad that I live in Australia where guns are illegal without a gun license.

  • How is that?

  • those guys wernt heroes.they were treated shitty but theyre not heroes.

  • why takes alot of guts to take a social stand such as they did. to face your injurys and rise above them alot brraver tehn taking a gun and shooting someone

  • please explain how

  • takes alot of guts to take a social stand such as they did. to face your injurys and rise above them alot brraver tehn taking a gun and shooting someone which is what cowards do.
