@cupoftea31 Yes, we ship world wide including Sri Lanka. You will see shipping cost to your country by adding supply items to the shopping cart. Thanks!
@asportsfanx For painting roses, I would recommend our Sheep Hair Peony Brush Pro Brush . Size: 1-1/2" (4cm)long, 3/8"(1cm) diameter, Handle 9-1/4"(25.5cm) Which you can find at our online store BLueHeronArts.
@xxxxcocotazoxxxx I have not heard of corn or wheat paper for painting. But just to let you know rice paper or Xuan paper are not made of rice. You can find them Japanese rice paper or Chinese Xuan rice paper at our online store BlueHeronArts(.)Com. Thanks!
@ghostielocks Most of us only have ten minutes attention span, including the artist himself.:-) That is why we developed this kind of painting, which is known as "idea writing"(寫意/写意). However, it require many many ten minutes practice sessions.
It´s a beautiful work....may I ask whether you have had the flowers in your mind or had you the flowers standing live right in front of you ? Or was there a photo or the like to know what and how to paint ?
@windshield48 I had no reference of real flower or picture. Yes, I have a vague mind image to start and open to happy accidents during the painting process. I draw inspiration from ancient and modern masters, and from natural - in this case I had 30 roses around my house. Even when I paint before the real roses I still have a mind image and constantly compare it with the object. Hope I answered your question. Thanks!
thanks and can i have information about rice paper.. what kind of paper it is ..and what is different between common n rice paper.. actually i use c a grain paper .. but
hi i use c a grain paper is that right paper for this painting..and can u plz say the roses and leaves are mixture of which colours .. and thanks so much from ur beautiful painting..
I know some people they just use one kind of brush and get it done so easily. I only self learner and haven start on watercolor yet... I hope I can learn soon.
Wow, so delicate and lovely. Amazing to watch an artist create something from a blank page. The music was a joy to listen to. Thanks for posting this.
you are obviously a gifted artist and your love for your craft is evident in every thoughtful brushstroke. i was truely moved watching you bring those flowers to life. loved your video. please check out our video and let us know what ou think. thanks.

i was doing a water colour cat fish on my school for my junior cert project and my teacher was telling me to dab a slight bit of red paint on the top then dry off any paint on my brush and wet it then start doing it in streaks it actually came out brilliant she looked suprised
i agree... painting with aquarel is one of the hardest things to do!! i had more dificulty with aquarel then with oil or acryl... then i bought my "caran d'ache supracolor" water-solube colour pencils and it is magnificent!! just colour it in like a crayon and then go with water over it and voila!!! it makes it much more simpler...

I love your videos and have bought 4 of your work - this far LOL am drooling for the squirrel at the moment. I just wanted to say that I and probably more than me would love it if you could demonstrate a couple of animals in that very free and dynamic style. Trine
Trine: Thank you for your patronage and suggestions. I do have a squirrel painting in my eBay store. Have you had chance seeing it?
