  • haha epic fail!!! its full of water!!

  • Notmark09 the bottom of it was plastic

  • dude where did u get the part for that? nice boat sounds like a 10.8V batt

  • it can go underwater and you lose your materials and money

  • ahahahaha the water was inside....... you make a Good model of your ship.... wahahahah but still it was nice.... I like it..... very fast and interesting.....

  • Quick and awesome, I'm proud of you. What if the boat goes out of radio range?

  • nl

  • if you lower the prop it will run better

  • @chrishession1234 agreed on the prop, u need to lower it

  • Sorry no not the rudder. Propeller?

  • How do you keep the water from going in the boat from where the rudder comes out of?

  • nice job well done love it

  • nice job can i have the details of parts used in making of rc boat .

plz i need it for my science project

  • can i borrow that for my science project

  • Nice boat. Goes really fast!!

  • Nice boat really fast!

  • U should try to shorten and lower the shaft and prop

  • nice job :)

  • Cover it with a top part or something, if it overfloods or flips over the you're screwed.

  • Camera mounted looking down into the water as it flies by , slow to video record things in the water , fish , sharks lol , etc. . . . . . . .

  • nice but propeller is a bit too high up

  • That thing is cool!

  • You probably need a bit more wait on the back good job though

  • more speed if hull catamaran..nice sound..goodjob

  • I think u took in water

  • what motor do you have in it

  • and if it flips over ?? then youre screwed as tghe motor will get flooded

  • how to isolate the motor from the water

  • I like the cd case rudders, nice job !

  • To make it go faster you need to increase the prop tilt

  • How do you make it?

  • cool prop dude

  • Faster than my car?! Damn...

  • Nice

  • reminds me of one of them 'mudbug' boats down in cajun country. they have the long prop shaft and manually operated depth setting to avoid underwater vegetation. very close assimilation.

  • hey subscribe to me and I'll appreciate it if you tell me in detail and features as you built it please, what interests me most is: volts using the engine you use and how do you move the steering system.

  • hey me suscribo y te lo agradeceria mucho que me dijeras con detalle y caracteristicas como es que lo construiste por favor, lo que me interesa mas es: los volteos que usan, el motor que usas y como haces que se mueva el sistema de direccion.

  • i think RAMBO need this boat to rescue the kidnapped victims.....Thumbs up if you go with RAMBO to rescue.

  • Muito bom!

  • Aquadynamics...!? Heard of it?

  • put the prop deeper

  • sounds like a blender

  • Nice put the batt in back

  • lol... that boat made it self XD

  • Why no bigger propeller ?

  • That's awesome

  • Job""

  • I like it good jod

  • Awesome boat might want to cover the top in case it flips

  • nice

  • you are very creative.

  • I hope it crashes and burns

  • @shalenjoshi2 FUCK U

  • awesome design

  • Ingenious design on the rudder system. Very kool.

  • that thing is pretty fast

  • can i use a motor from a printer? i do not know how much voltage can run it.. it doesn't have any specification at all..

  • that propeller needs to be lower

  • @Adrian5893 no, this uses a semi-submerged propeller, allowing greater efficiency and higher top speed.

  • Needs more POWA!!! and a bigger propellor!!

  • needs a better hull for better cornering

  • what an ugly boat...

  • sweet boat!

  • nice boat..seems like if you got the front out the water a lil more..it would be faster and handle better..maybe shorten the prop?..either way nice!

  • I want to make one but I don't quite no how to get it alltogether

  • Very light and thats why quite fast, unlike my 10 pound rc boat he!

  • Very nice

  • Nice... :)

  • what remote did u use? is it universal? if soo where did u get it?

  • @g0nz0oo720

    Graupner SB6 Sync 40Mhz

  • dude sick boat, i wanna make 1 like that, but i dont have expierence

  • what type of engine is that

  • @BunnyDomination02

    LRP motor V10 Spec3 (4.8 - 8.4V)

  • con que tipo de remoto trabajas

  • what kind of engine is that?

  • the general layout of a boat like that is - motor in the front (that's why the drive-shaft assembly is so long), then everything else in the back (around, and above the drive-shaft), and as the last thing - the battery, so you can use it to balance the hull's pitch (angle to the water). the propeller goes in FRONT of the rudder, so that the rudder isn't just cutting through the water, but actively re-directing the water coming off the prop - much better steering. also your prop is aggressive :)

  • put the propeller under the bottom of the boat, not sticking out the back. or at least submerge it a bit more. you'll get a lot more power

  • @PRIMEx420

Yes, or put a little mor weight at the back of the boat.

  • @powerjump1 noooo you never want to add weight to a boat. if the back needs to sit lower in the water, it's better to take weight away from the front part of the boat, than to add weight.

  • @PRIMEx420

    yes, you are right.

  • good way to sink it. pretty cool tho

  • I noticed that too that the prop was high. But that's creative.

  • your prop is too high if you lower it it will run way better

  • great r/c ,,,, i was thinking ,,this will never work ,,but i was wrong ,,,,, do the rudders interupt the flow of water to the prop ,,??? is there any cavitation???

  • Looks like a 'Kottenpark-built' boat to me! I think I like it :-).

  • what tipe of moter is that and where can i get it from plz reply :)

  • Nice boat! How did u seal it between the drive shaft and the boat? plz relpy

  • Looks so cool want to make one lol nice job

  • alot better than the first rc boat i made when a was 15

  • you sir is a GENIOUS!!!!!!!

  • als milchaufschäumer supper

  • you should do a race with an over on and you should of made tha video longer

  • THATS A DRawR

  • Looks really nice.. I think u would not have done much work for the hull, but still its good.. I don't know how to make the rudder control.. Could you please give me some tips or if can a video on building a rudder..

  • hey just wondering where u got the red coupler thing that joins ur engine to ur shaft

  • A thinner sleeker haul would help with the speed tremendously

  • what's that helping to turn the boat and how much volts batteries u taken an r u on Facebook...... ....

  • You should try making an all clear boat, it would be cool to see that thing going through the water, mabe even add lights :)

  • good little creek boat good job

  • how did u make that if its possible can you send me the plans for it just message me back if you can

  • @SoggyWeetBix1 There are no plans of this boat, only sketches made on the boat herselve.

  • @profjos how to make the motor part

  • @profjos can you send me the sketches??

  • how to glow a boat

  • it's water cooled i see???? you need brushless motor 22txt spins in minute !!! ;)

  • j'adore!! trop bien fait!!!

  • How do you stop water from getting into the hole where the metal rod is for the propellor?

  • @poelsand "metal rod" (drive-shaft) goes through a metal tube (sleeve) which spans from the u-joint or coupler the motor-shaft connects, to the end where the propeller is attached. There's special grease called "box grease" or "packing grease" that u fill the tube with, before inserting the drive-shaft. The grease lets the shaft spin inside the tube, but keeps water from coming in. u can also put the top end of the sleeve above the waterline, or air-seal the top hatch of the boat for pressure.

  • sound = turbo

  • AWESOME! if you set the prop lower in the water it wont cavitate and it will go WAY faster i bet,, great work!

  • hey i was wondering if you could take me step by step on how to make a boat like this i have to make one for rotc out of scratch and i dnt know where to begin

  • @soxfannumber1

It's just 4 plywood plates with a perspex bottem, bended by heating it. But I would make a removable top to so nothing will burn back to magic smoke.

It is a easy boat to make even without drawings. Just make some sketches on paper, and when they look good, put them on the wood.

  • @profjos

Very nice job but if i made that boat i would put a little bench seat in the front and put a naked barbie and ken doll sitting together.

  • @profjos can you tell me somethink how did you waterprouf it becose im making the same boat but i got some problem with the water keeps on coming where the propeler is and what type of motor is that and where did you got it from please reply im only a begener :(

  • i think it is really kool

but it sorta sound like a blender lol :) fast thoo!

  • zajebiste mi sie podoba chyba odgapie ten model tylko dam tam spalinowke bo mam fajny jest skret

  • propeller cavitates bad ,,you'r loosing thrust big time plus your hull has a front plate effect bad too, it does not get on plane it just trashes thru water,,,you can improve a lot..ernest.

  • Thank u so much supertobbert, so the receiver is under the Esc? Cool, how much does a used chEapy receiver cost? And also how much does a cheapy Esc cost? Thanks, yeah I'm in thE middle of a rc boat project and I'm trying to get th chEapest electrics around, what shop do u recommend?

    Thanks

  • Hey, where exactly is the receiver, i cant see it, does the servo go into the receiver? What is the propeller you've got called?

    Many Thanks,

  • @DIYSingh If you pause the vid at 0:05 you can see the servo at the top, under it is the motor, and under there is at 1side the ESC (blue) and the receiver (black). The prop is a 30mm Graupner with M4.

The ESC+servo go into the receiver and the receiver gets his power from the BEC from the ESC.

  • the prop need to be in the water moor

  • i shat at 0:05

  • needs a v hull, and ditch that long shaft.

  • holy shit that thing hauls ass

  • How u make it and what engine did u use?

  • It's accually considerably fast my first impression was just another shitty home made model, nice motor, could someone give me a basic list/price of the materials to make something like this

  • it went faster than i thaught it would

  • how many ghz or mhz rc transmiter and reciver are used and what type i cannot find one for my self. thanks. nice job on the boat

  • @PowKa154

    I use a 40MHz Graupner synthesizer system.

  • @profjos what is that :P? expand please

  • how did you do the rudder? i can't figure it out

  • @joshicus2

A big shaft is glued to the back of the hull. Inside is a smaller axle glued at the bottem+top at the rudder with 5minute epoxy. On the top the axles are connected to eachother and 1 rudder is connected with the servo with an iron wire.

  • @profjos yeah the rudder explain more do you have drawings or something

  • de schroef ligt denk ik niet diep genoeg in het water, daardoor vangt hij niet genoeg water.

als je hem dieper in het water zet gaat hij nog veel sneller =D

  • :D heel mooi gemaakt man.

ik zou het ook willen maken maar dan gebruiken als voerboot bij het vissen.

  • it s like one of granma s chest of drawers :)

  • put a little more weight in the back off the boat and te prop will be further underwater......i had to do the same thing to my boat it ran alot better

  • thats fucking awesome

  • put some hydrofoils on it :D

  • you should add a little weight t o drop the shaft into the water more

  • this is my opinion but i think it would be better with the propeller a little bit lower into the water

  • Die welle ist zu lang

  • nice one. I love it.

  • That's f'in awsome!

  • me likes. 2 thumbs up.

  • I have a toy like that. They are really fun to play with, unfortunately, I don't usually go out to any lakes or big pools to play with them.

  • hi can send me some photos please my e-mail address is asolak@hotmail.de

  • hi can send me some photos

  • Right, now me being a noob, that is great, but dude, could you tell me how do you seal the motorshaft where it exits the body or hull? Cause i have a ton of RC experience but nothing on boats. Cause with my knowledge i would think that the water would leak in where the shaft exits the hull at the back? Thanks man, nice boat.

  • @attacker5

It`s a 2parts shaft. An outer shaft that doesn`t rotate, that is stuck here in the rubber, you can also just glue it. And an inner shaft that rotates, there is grease in the shaft so water doesn`t leak in, and runs smoothly.

  • What motor are you useing

  • @curly484

A 7.2V brushed rc car motor, this one specific is a "LRP V10 SPEC 3"

  • you should try making the front more narower so it goes faster and does not have all that water to push

  • @minimansven3

  • can you give me the plans??????

    please

    xd

  • How do u keep water from leaking in around where the prop goes through?

  • @talowin it's an outer tube with a shaft in it, you should put grease between them to prevent water leaking in.

  • if you make the front to a point it will increase the speed alot! and it need a lid on it. other than that, great vid!

  • how do you make the plastic turning thing and how to made it function like turn to left and right!

  • I really like this. In this video though I think it would be better if the battery pack was at the back to bring the nose up a bit, and to move the motor forward to where the battery was originally. This would also mean that the propeller wouldn't stick out as much. But even so it works very well, well done.

  • how many watt has the motor ??

  • @Damir819

It's an old car motor, a LRP V10 SPEC 3.

Can't find the specs, but if you search a bit you might find it.

  • @profjos

     Ok, Thank you :))

  • Comment removed

  • make the bow a deep V not just a up curve. Deep V bow would make this thing go about double the speed!

  • Sounds like it would benefit from a different prop ... sounds like that one was dragging alot

  • thats a nice boat for homemade and its not to slow. what type of materials did u need to make it?

  • @101austin1

Plywood glued to a plexiglas bottem that got heatened with a gas burner to give it the right shape. Without the rc components that's all.

  • do bigger propllers make the boat go faster?

  • @madman8451

Not if it's to big. Then the wires in the motor will become to hot and finally damaging it and the magnets.

  • i dont know ho to make it turn. can you tell me pls

  • @ZorkwanM

You need to make a rudder and attach it with 2 wires on a servo. This boat has 1 rudder connected to eachother, and 1 gets pushed and pulled by the servo.

If you pause the video on the right time you should be able to see it clear.
