  • It is in the relay as already posted by another YouTuber....notice the check engine light is still on, it is supposed to turn off after the fuel pressure is up. Your relay is likey not telling your fuel pump to pressurize the rail.

    I first had this happen in 1996 in the first Si model sold Stateside...my '85 CRX Si...Thats right, I've been rockin' Honda over 15 years and I have seen the common relay problems many times since then

    My '92 GSR/ Type-R swap still sits in mothballs.

  • bring the shifter all the way down then put it back into park and see if that works

  • dude its just shift lock happens to mine all the time, there should be a key hole beside ur shifter that says 'Shift lock release" stick ur key in there for like 3 seconds and its good

  • maybe u have a blown engine or u have to change Ur alternator

  • when mine blinked it meant the trans is going out cause not even two weeks after mine started tranny went out

  • it is your pgm-fi main relay located under your steering wheel, you would have to take off the bottom piece of your dash to get to it

  • I had the same problem with my car every month it did it till it finally died

    All it is is the tranmission sensor which you can find in a wreckers for about 500 dollars or brand new for about 1000 dollars Mine runs great now.

  • man im having the same problem. my car stalled. wont start up like yours. i tried mostly everything. replaced the whole distributor assembly. replaced spark plugs. replaced fuel filter. fuel pump is squirting gas. and i checked my spark cables. so what? still wont start.. would mine be the ignition switch?

  • you need to check under near the pettles look up and youll see a blinking red light it will blink a code to you get the code and it will tell you whats wrong with it

    the distributor ignition module...i'm pretty sure...

  • mine does the same exact shit, just after i put a new motor in it. Before that it was fine!!!

  • My 91 Honda Accord had the same problem. My alternator eventually died. I bought another one an that problem went away.

  • i saw the same problem, in my Brothers honda accord.. just wait a few minutes.. or disconect the battery.. i think is a trans problem bcause Isnt In Parking gear..

  • the ecu is bad and check you trans computer located uder the pass seat i belive if its a 90-93 i think it is i used to work at a honda junkyard specializing in hondas and acuras and swap of evey kind a five speed swap is afordable but a lot of shit to do dont let anybody tell you different ive done alot of them wiring harness,tranny ,pedals, cable,ecu and few other odds and ends if there are any questions email me @ wlaws13@gmail

  • well you can check ur main relay that is under ur dash. but im sure its gonna be ur ECU because ur check engine light wont turn off... that happened to me my check engine light never turned off. i changed my dizzy/.. apark plugs and cables..nothing was wrong, at the en it was my ecu

  • It means you need to dust your dashboard. Actually, it means you need to take it in to get it inspected before you face bigger problems.

  • i read my car manual and if the light blinks while running the car on any Drive gear, then the transmission is messed up, and its blinking so i guess ur transmission does not work anymore...sorry buddy

  • I can guarantee you that its your starting relay. its right underneath the drivers side panel. Its a little brown box. if its too hot it will click only once. but if you cool it off it will click once then again and the engine light and s3 light should shut off and the car will start. You can get it at any Acura dealership. Let me know if it works..

  • this guys right ists the main relay same as the starter relay it sends no power to the distributor so it doesnt fire tap it with something when it does this and i bet it cranks no matter how hot it is this also happened to my car thought it was the distributor changed everything but nope it was the relay i guarantee it

  • Lol well it is the distrbutor i have a 93 ls love it and have same problem when car is running for long time then stop it and some times dont star and allways happens at drive throughs lol if u think it is fuel pump unplug from fule rail and turn key it should spit out if u notice the rpms dont jump when u try to start it no spark ha! good luck update

  • It can't be the fuel pump cuz it showing that D3 gear is blinking so it has to do with a sensor or the distributor that u broke on it, its a tiny ass fuckin screw them shits are a fuckin bitch man if its not one thing its the other but also make sure ur fuses are good.

  • i have a 1990 ls.same thing happened while i was driving.we found that the tiny screw that holds the distributor rotor to the cam shaft was missing.if you remove the cap and that rotor spins free with any amount of force then thats the problem.that rotor shouldnt spin freely at all.

  • no it shouldnt be the fuel pump....it may be something that has to do with the ignition starter but im not sure..sorry..let me know if u find out what it is.

  • i just got a new one put in not that long ago. do you thik it might be another thing that giving problems like the fuel pump?
