I'm all for it, go green, if your cheap, don't want your money going to those evil sheiks etc (I'm all 3) BUT FIRST find out the price locally for one of the main ingredients ----> Methanol.

Given you only use about 20% methanol to the total volume, about 9 gallons for the 45 gallon example here, where I live its about $5/gallon. That right there puts your your starting price at $1/gallon plus the other chemicals, time, and equipment. Some places still have cheap methanol.
